Hongdae is the Korean barbecue buffet on the fifth floor, Summer zone, of Siam Square One, and with over 6,000 Google reviews at 4.8 it is one of the most-reviewed restaurants in the Siam area. Wongnai reviewers list three tiers at 299++, 399++ and 599++ baht with a ninety-minute limit. The base tier covers Korean-marinated pork in several cuts, belly, neck, collar and bulgogi, plus black Angus beef; 399++ adds grilled salmon and 599++ adds river prawns and marinated shrimp. Sides include seaweed, vegetables, tteok, three dipping sauces with ssamjang on request, a hot-pot bibimbap, and ice cream and fruit to finish. You tick an order sheet and staff bring the meat. The room is full most evenings and especially Friday and Saturday nights, so several reviewers suggest booking ahead.
