Central Ladprao Restaurants: 8 Places to Eat Floor by Floor, Plus the Food Hall and Food Court
Central Ladprao restaurants by floor: Central Food Hall on G, sushi and seafood on 4, hot pot and grill buffets on 3, with prices per head and MRT exits.
Central Ladprao restaurants are spread across three linked buildings on the Ha Yaek Lat Phrao junction, where Phahon Yothin, Lat Phrao and Vibhavadi Rangsit roads meet, so knowing the floor before you arrive saves a lot of walking. This guide is for people who live on the north side of the city, in Ari, Phahon Yothin or Chatuchak, and for visitors pairing the mall with Chatuchak Weekend Market a stop or two up the line. The eight places below each have a confirmed floor, dishes and prices from public sources, and are ranked by Google rating and review volume, dish evidence and editorial judgement.
Eating here is mostly chain dining: Japanese sets, Singapore chicken rice, Thai-style pasta, a Rayong seafood house and two ways to do hot pot or grill. Budget by type. A plate of chicken rice at Boon Tong Kee comes to about 200 to 400 baht a head, the pasta rooms 250 to 500, and sushi, sukiyaki or a whole sea bass shared at the table 300 to 800. The grill buffet starts at 399 baht before service and VAT. Without a car it is easy: MRT Phahon Yothin exit 3 is about 200 metres from the G floor, and BTS Ha Yaek Lat Phrao (N9) exits 1 and 3 lead across to the mall. Most restaurants keep 10:00 to 22:00, but a few kitchens stop well before that.

Central Ladprao restaurants by floor: G, 3 and 4
The complex opened on 25 December 1982 as Central Pattana’s first integrated shopping centre. Grab and Ryoii still call it CentralPlaza Ladprao, so CentralPlaza Ladprao restaurants are the same rooms listed here. It is still three buildings joined together: a seven-floor Central department store, a four-floor main plaza and a five-floor left wing, with the Centara Grand hotel tower above. A floor number alone does not tell you which side a restaurant is on. Laem Charoen Seafood is on the plaza side of floor 4, while Ñamñam is on the department-store side of the same floor, by the children’s clothing.
The G floor is for quick meals: Central Food Hall, Boon Tong Kee in units G29-30, Pasta Ama, KFC and Chabuton Ramen, according to Grab. Floor 1 has MK and Saemaeul Sikdang in room 119, and Grab places Din Tai Fung on level 1 for xiao long bao and crab fried rice. Floor 2 has Thongsmith for wagyu boat noodles. Floor 3 is the floor for long meals, with Yuzu Suki, Greyhound Cafe, the Sukishi charcoal grill, Sizzler and CoCo Ichibanya. The central ladprao 4th floor has the longest list of places to eat: Sushi Seki, Laem Charoen and Ñamñam from the list above, plus Audrey Cafe, Baan Ice, Phed Phed café, Nice Two Meat U and KubKao’ KubPla in Grab’s September 2026 list.
Ground floor and Central Food Hall: quick meals by the MRT entrance
Central Food Hall Ladprao is Central’s upmarket supermarket on the G floor, and it doubles as a place to eat. Ryoii counted more than ten zones when it opened. The one that matters for a meal is Central Eatery, a counter kitchen doing Thai, Italian and Japanese plates, where you can also buy fish or meat in the hall and have the chef cook it. Ham & Brie, with more than 700 cheeses, has its own tables. The Baker reheats its thin-crust pizza on request, and the salad bar was charged at 30 baht per 100 grams. Ryoii notes Central Eatery gets particularly full at lunchtime. Grab adds a Gindaco takoyaki counter in the food hall, open 10:00 to 21:00.
Of the sit-down rooms on G, Boon Tong Kee works best on your own. Its regular side orders across the chain are the house fried tofu and green beans with minced pork, and Grab lists stir-fried morning glory for this branch. Pasta Ama is better for two or three. Beyond the squid-ink plate, the 2026 Wongnai review names a creamy egg-and-prawn pasta, fried prawns and a pasta made with CP’s house sausage. The mall branch is walk-in only.
Central Ladprao food court: C Flavour and the 4th-floor food zone
The central ladprao food court most people mean is C Flavour, inside Central Food Hall on the G floor. Ryoii lists stalls for hoi tod (crispy oyster omelette), takoyaki, burgers, suki and rad na. Stall line-ups change faster than any list, so treat names as a snapshot.
The second cluster is the food zone on floor 4, near the escalators up to floor 5. Grab places KubKao’ KubPla there, a Thai restaurant known for smoked salmon nam tok, small shrimp fried with betel leaves and caramelised pork leg. Wongnai also lists Foo Flavor in this zone, in the old Swensen’s and Lee Cafe space, but marks it as possibly closed and most of its reviews date from 2019 and 2020, so do not plan a meal around it.
Japanese and Korean restaurants at Central Ladprao
Sushi Seki is the obvious central ladprao japanese restaurant, and the menu goes well past sashimi. Reviews of the chain keep naming the hot-pan crab rice, the Thai-style salmon yam and the shirauo whitebait salad. One blogger found a salmon omakase box on promotion at 499 baht against 829 regular. Reviewer spend runs from 251 to 500 baht a head up to more than 1,000, depending on how much raw fish goes on the table. Yuzu Suki on floor 3 is the other Japanese sit-down. TrueID describes five broths, the group headlines Omi wagyu A5, and a full sushi menu runs in the same room. Grab lists more Japanese options without ranking them: Pepper Lunch, Yoshinoya, Ootoya, Tenya, and CoCo Ichibanya on floor 3. Hungry Hub adds Teraoka Gyoza. For the rest of the city, see Japanese restaurants in Bangkok.
For a central ladprao korean restaurant, Sukishi’s charcoal grill on floor 3 is the one with published prices. Wongnai reviewers at this branch mention fresh prawns, sliced beef and kimchi soup, with butter-grilled scallops and river prawns on the upper tiers. Grab names two smaller Korean rooms: Saemaeul Sikdang on floor 1, room 119, for thin-sliced grilled pork and a kimchi set, and Nice Two Meat U on floor 4 for barbecue and budae jjigae. Wongnai places Bonchon fried chicken on floor 4.
Thai food, seafood and long sit-down meals
Laem Charoen is the table for a family that wants a whole fish. The sea bass also comes steamed with lime or fried with garlic at 645 baht, with yam pla khao san (crispy whitebait salad) and clams in chilli paste at 245 each. Grab’s 2026 guide calls salt-grilled river prawns and red-braised grouper the signatures. The kitchen closes earlier than the room, so arrive by 19:00, or phone the branch on 081 234 2078 first. The brand takes bookings on LINE at @laem.
Greyhound Cafe is the relaxed Thai-fusion option on floor 3. Beyond Grab’s two picks, the brand’s standing orders are the Complicated Noodle, flat rice sheets you wrap around minced pork, chilli sauce and lettuce yourself, and the fried chicken wings. Burpple traces the wings to the managing director’s grandmother. Greyhound does not publish its menu prices online. Ñamñam splits its menu into Thai, Japanese, Chinese and Korean twists on pasta; Grab names a tom yum carbonara and a salted egg yolk spaghetti, and a Wongnai reviewer here ordered gambas al ajillo and a pink-sauce bacon linguine.
Grab’s list adds more Thai food with floors attached: Baan Ice on floor 4 for southern yellow curry with sea bass, Phed Phed café on floor 4 for som tam with crab and pla ra and fried pork laab, and Kon Chong Kon Prung in the Living House zone for green curry and prawn pad thai. They sit outside the ranking because Grab’s two-line entries are the only published detail on their menus and prices.
Central Ladprao buffet: grill, hot pot and the hotel upstairs
The central ladprao buffet with a checked price is Sukishi Korean Charcoal Grill. Reviews at this branch quote the Copper tier at 399 baht plus 10% service and 7% VAT, a Silver tier at 444 baht plus service and VAT, and a 555-baht net promotion in August 2026; a Rose Gold tier ran at 899 baht plus in December 2024. Read the tier board at the entrance before you sit down. If you would rather not eat against the clock, Yuzu Suki on the same floor sells hot pot by the set. More options across town are in hot pot in Bangkok and buffets in Bangkok.
For a hotel buffet, the Centara Grand at Central Ladprao sits on the same site. Hungry Hub lists Hagi, its Japanese buffet, from about 890 baht, Dynasty, the Chinese restaurant, from 790, and Suan Bua for Thai food from 790. The hotel’s Blue Sky Rooftop Bar and Dining starts at 990 baht on Hungry Hub.
Getting there, parking and opening hours
MRT Phahon Yothin exit 3 is the usual way in, about 200 metres on foot to the G floor by both Ryoii’s and Wongnai’s count, which makes the mall the easiest set of restaurants near MRT Phahon Yothin. BTS Ha Yaek Lat Phrao (N9) exits 1 and 3 serve the mall from the Sukhumvit Line. Union Mall is across the junction on Lat Phrao Road, and Hungry Hub lists Katsuya and Sukee Mungon there if Central is full. Chatuchak Park and the weekend market are one MRT stop away, so the two combine easily; Chatuchak Market food covers what to eat inside the market.
Parking is free for the first hour by both published sources, but the spend-based extensions differ between Motorist’s 2025 table and Ryoii’s, so check at the stamp counter before you pay. Opening hours per Grab are mostly 10:00 to 22:00, with Ñamñam closing at 21:00 and Sizzler at 21:30. Wongnai has Laem Charoen’s kitchen taking last orders at 19:30.
Outside the mall, Jobteeyum sits on Lat Phrao Road in front of Lotus’s and serves yam until midnight; Grab names the fried Vietnamese sausage yam as its signature. For the rest of the neighbourhood, see Lat Phrao restaurants, with Ari restaurants a few BTS stops south. If you like this mall format, Central Rama 9 restaurants is the same idea further along the MRT Blue Line, and street food in Bangkok covers eating outside the malls.
