EmQuartier restaurants sit in three separate places, and knowing which one you want saves a lot of time on escalators. The ground floor around the waterfall garden has the brunch and terrace rooms, basement B has the Quartier Food Hall, and the Helix building stacks the sit-down restaurants on floors 6 to 9 along a spiral ramp. This 2026 list ranks ten em quartier restaurants whose menus, prices and floors are documented in public sources, from a Kyoto beef-katsu counter on floor 6 to a suki buffet on floor 9, and every entry carries its floor. It is written for people who live or work around Phrom Phong and for visitors who came for the shops and need lunch. The order weighs Google rating against review volume, documented dishes, and editorial judgement.

Plan on three budgets. EmQuartier food in the basement hall costs about 120 to 300 baht a dish. Sit-down chains such as Gyukatsu Kyoto Katsugyu, D’ARK, LukKaiThong and Kub Kao Kub Pla land at 250 to 500 baht a head. The rooms you book for, Mozza, Ginza Shabu-Ten and Unagi Yondaime Kikukawa, run 500 to 1,500 baht a head, and most add 10 percent service and 7 percent VAT. BTS Phrom Phong exit 1 walks straight into the mall’s M floor; the waterfall garden is one level down and the glass lift goes to floor 6, where the Helix starts. Most restaurants keep mall hours of 10:00 to 22:00, and the G-floor brunch rooms open at 08:00.

EmQuartier restaurants floor by floor: G garden, B food hall, Helix 6 to 9

The mall is three linked buildings: the Helix Quartier, the Glass Quartier and the Waterfall Quartier. Restaurants cluster in the Helix and around the waterfall. On the Helix’s spiral ramp, sources sometimes disagree on floors: some reviews put Ginza Shabu-Ten on floor 6 while its listing says 8, and MAiSEN appears as floor 7 in Wongnai’s title and floor 8 in its address line. Floors below come from TrueID’s mall list, iUrban’s Helix walk-through and SaleHere, cross-checked against the venue listings.

  • B: Quartier Food Hall with Deli Express, plus sit-down chains BonChon, Boon Tong Kee, Rosniyom, The Bibimbab and Smoked for barbecue.
  • G: Mozza, Victoria and D’ARK, all within a minute’s walk of each other around the waterfall garden.
  • 1 and 4: a few strays, such as Drop by Dough on 1 and Sushi Seki on 4.
  • 6: Gyukatsu Kyoto Katsugyu, LukKaiThong, Kub Kao Kub Pla and Unagi Yondaime Kikukawa, with South Tiger, Hokkai-Don and Wine I Love You alongside.
  • 7: MAiSEN by the listing, Le Dalat, Misoya Ramen, Laem Charoen Seafood and Nara Thai Cuisine.
  • 8: Ginza Shabu-Ten, Man Fu Yuan, Cafe Chilli and the Tajima grill buffet.
  • 9: You&I Premium Suki Buffet and Mugendai.

Helix EmQuartier restaurants on floors 6 to 9

Start on floor 6. Its restaurants open onto a sky garden with a waterfall, a pool and trees, and iUrban notes the view across Sukhumvit to Benjasiri Park. The four ranked rooms here split cleanly by mood. Gyukatsu Kyoto Katsugyu is the quick one, fine for a solo lunch, though the stone grill gets hot enough that families should keep small hands away from it. Unagi Yondaime Kikukawa is the slow one, worth booking for a weekend dinner. Kub Kao Kub Pla is where to take older relatives who want proper Thai home cooking: beyond the coconut-cream salad, Wongnai highlights the chain’s caramelised pork leg and bai liang leaves stir-fried with egg, and window tables look out over the city. LukKaiThong is better treated as a dessert stop: Post Today explains that its pang cha yen blends five Thai teas, and Wongnai’s 3.6 for the room sits well below its Google 4.3. South Tiger, also on 6 and not ranked here, is the alternative for fierier southern Thai.

Floor 7 is the most mixed: tonkatsu, Vietnamese at Le Dalat, ramen at Misoya, seafood at Laem Charoen and Thai at Nara. At MAiSEN, the Kurobuta fillet set and a prawn-katsu sandwich are the alternatives to the loin. Floor 8 is mostly beef and Chinese. Floor 9 is the top of the spiral, and besides the buffet it has Mugendai, a Japanese room that TrueID says has window seats over the city. For EmQuartier restaurants with a view, floors 6 and 9 are the two answers.

EmQuartier food hall and food court on floor B: cheap eats under 300 baht

The emquartier food hall, which most people call the EmQuartier food court, is the cheapest way to eat in the mall. Wongnai’s write-up of the new zone describes the Deli Express area as open kitchens where you watch your food being made, with rotating street-food stalls. Its listed prices: farmfactory guacamole bowl, medium, 165 baht; Hunter Poke small bowl, 280 baht; Jamie’s Burgers double monster pork burger, 329 baht; six oysters at Oyster Bay, 600 baht. Teraoka Gyoza, Chairman by Chef Man and The Bibimbab are the other regulars. A March 2025 comparison of Bangkok food courts by the Thailand with Monchai blog puts EmQuartier at 120 to 300 baht a dish, a little above Siam Paragon and Terminal 21.

My Travel Note’s write-up describes paying with a prepaid card loaded at the counter and refunded on the way out, and picks out a yen ta fo noodle stall, condensed-milk toast and coconut ice cream on sticky rice. Ask at the entrance whether the card is still needed. For a cheaper hall nearby, compare Terminal 21 restaurants one stop west, and for the Siam equivalent see Siam Paragon restaurants.

Japanese, shabu and buffet restaurants at EmQuartier

About half the Helix is Japanese, and the five Japanese places on this list are five different meals: beef katsu you finish on the stone yourself, tonkatsu with unlimited rice, eel in a three-stage bowl, shabu ordered by the set, and an all-you-can-eat suki pot. Pick by how long you want to sit. Gyukatsu and MAiSEN work as a quick lunch between shops; Unagi Yondaime Kikukawa and Ginza Shabu-Ten are dinners worth booking.

For shabu, the decision is buffet or set. You&I on floor 9 gives 90 minutes on the 560-baht standard tier, 105 minutes on premium with wagyu and seafood, and 120 minutes on super premium; a Wanderlog reviewer warns of a possible surcharge on credit cards, so ask before paying. Ginza Shabu-Ten on floor 8 suits two or three people who would rather eat 200 grams of good sirloin than race a clock, and reviewers recommend the black-broth suki and the nettori tofu. For anyone at the table who does not want to cook, Ginza Shabu-Ten also serves an unagi rice bowl and a wagyu don. Across the city, compare hot pot in Bangkok, buffets in Bangkok and Japanese restaurants in Bangkok.

Breakfast and brunch on the G floor (the only zone open before 10:00)

Before the mall opens at 10:00, the waterfall garden is where breakfast happens. D’ARK and Victoria both start at 08:00. D’ARK is the coffee stop: Time Out singles out the coffee whether you order a flat white or a pour-over, reviewers say the beans come from Di Bella in Australia, and the outdoor seats take dogs. Victoria is the sit-down version, with avocado toast and eggs Benedict in the morning, four French soups made daily, a rotisserie half chicken at 590 baht, and a happy-hour list, L’Apéritif, for wine and beer. Last orders are 15 minutes before closing, which is 23:00 on Friday and Saturday.

Mozza, on the G Floor of Building A, has a start time that differs between sources, 08:00 on Google and 10:00 in the mall directory, so treat it as lunch and dinner. Its terrace is the best seat on the G floor on a dry evening, and reviewers say evenings are often full, so book through Chope. For more early openers around the city, see brunch in Bangkok.

EmSphere and Emporium restaurants: what the other two EM malls add

EmQuartier is one of three malls in the EM District, which share promotions and the EM Privilege membership. Emporium is across Sukhumvit, reached by skywalk, with Greyhound Café on floor 1 according to Hungry Hub. No Emporium restaurant is ranked on this page.

EmSphere opened in December 2023 on the Soi 24 side, and Time Out’s pre-opening list named Thong Smith, Rong Klan Nuea for northern Thai, Charoen Kaeng for curries, Rintaro, Pastaioli, Street Pizza, the vegan V Street and an IKEA restaurant, without floors. Wongnai places a HITORI SHABU branch on the G floor. For EmSphere food late at night, Naewna reported at launch that its Gourmet Market stays open until 03:00, and Retail Insight Network describes the 5th and 6th floors as an entertainment zone of about 25 bars, pubs and clubs. Every ranked restaurant on this page is in EmQuartier.

From October to the end of November 2026, the EM District dining promotion gives cash coupons of 100, 400 and 800 baht for receipts of 1,000, 2,500 and 4,000 baht at participating restaurants. Collect them on the day of spending at the EM Privilege counters on the M floor and floor 6. A table of four at Ginza Shabu-Ten or Unagi Yondaime Kikukawa will usually clear the 2,500-baht tier.

Getting there from BTS Phrom Phong and opening hours

BTS Phrom Phong exit 1 connects to EmQuartier’s M floor without touching the street. Go down one level for the G-floor garden, or take the glass lift to floor 6 for the Helix and walk the ramp up from there. Emporium is over the skywalk; EmSphere is further along on the Soi 24 side of the road.

Most restaurants keep the mall’s 10:00 to 22:00, per TrueID’s floor list. The exceptions are the G-floor brunch rooms, which open at 08:00, and kitchens where sources disagree, such as Gyukatsu Kyoto Katsugyu (10:00 to 21:30 on Wongnai, 11:00 to 22:00 on Google) and Mozza (08:00 on Google, 10:00 in the mall directory); each venue page lists both.

If you would rather eat in the sois, Soi 33/1 on the same side of Sukhumvit has Kobe Tonteki’s pork steak sets from 300 baht including tax and service, per a May 2023 Blockdit review, and the rest of the neighbourhood is in restaurants around Phrom Phong. One stop east is Thonglor restaurants, and the whole road is mapped soi by soi in Sukhumvit restaurants.

How do I walk to EmQuartier from BTS Phrom Phong?

Use exit 1 at BTS Phrom Phong. The walkway enters EmQuartier on the M floor, so you never cross Sukhumvit Road. Emporium is across the road by skywalk from the same station.
