Lat Phrao Restaurants (Ladprao): 10 Places to Eat from Ha Yaek to Wang Hin
Lat Phrao restaurants from Ha Yaek to Wang Hin: 24-hour dim sum, late-night yam, Italian on Soi 48, a roastery, plus five picks inside Central Ladprao.
Lat Phrao restaurants follow one long road. Lat Phrao, which the mall and many signs spell Ladprao, runs from the Ha Yaek junction past residential sois and office blocks to Bang Kapi, and Wang Hin Road off it is where the area eats late. This guide is for people who live along it, and for anyone at Ha Yaek Lat Phrao deciding whether to eat in the mall or walk out of it. The list has 10 places whose menus and prices are documented in public sources: five inside Central Ladprao, five along lower Lat Phrao Road and Wang Hin. Ranking comes from Google rating and review volume, documented dishes, and editorial judgement.
Budget in three bands. Dim sum, chicken rice and noodle plates cost 100 to 250 baht a head. Mall sit-downs such as Boon Tong Kee, Pasta Ama or Yuzu Suki run 200 to 700. A proper Italian dinner or a long night of drinks is 500 to 1,000 and up. Getting here is simple: MRT Phahon Yothin exit 3 is about 200 metres from the mall, BTS Ha Yaek Lat Phrao exits 1 and 3 lead across to it, and the Yellow Line monorail starts at MRT Lat Phrao and runs east along Lat Phrao Road to Bang Kapi. Wang Hin Road has no rail at all, so it is a taxi or motorbike ride.

Central Ladprao in brief
Central Ladprao stands on the junction where Lat Phrao Road begins, and it holds five of the ten places on this list. Pasta Ama and Boon Tong Kee are on the G floor by the MRT Phahon Yothin link, Yuzu Suki is in unit 319 on floor 3, and Sushi Seki and Ñamñam Pasta and Tapas are on floor 4. The food court and Central Food Hall are on G. Above the mall, the Centara Grand hotel sells Hagi Japanese buffet from about 893 baht and Blue Sky Rooftop from 990 through Hungry Hub, alongside Suan Bua Thai and Don Giovanni Italian. Every floor, the food court, the buffets and the parking rules are in the Central Ladprao restaurants guide; this page is about the road beyond the mall.
Best Lat Phrao restaurants outside the mall
Lower Lat Phrao Road, from Ha Yaek to Soi 48, is residential sois and office blocks, so its restaurants serve people who live there. Tunu Tarnar on Soi 48 is the standout: homemade Italian, a large wine cellar and VIP rooms, brunch from 09:00 and dinner to midnight, 200 metres from Phawana station. On Chope its atmosphere score (4.5) is well above its service score (3.7), so come for the room and the wine, not for speed. Chokdee Dimsum near Soi 24 has been open around the clock since 2008, and Lazy Sol on Soi 26 turns from a laptop cafe into a bar with live music at weekends.
Gourmet & Cuisine adds two unranked places on Soi Lat Phrao 15: Francky, with Black Angus ribeye and live music on Fridays and Saturdays, and MaRee Eatery House, a white 1990s-style house serving family recipes such as kaeng liang. Back by the junction, Jobteeyum in front of Lotus’s is where people go for spicy salads until midnight.
Lat Phrao Road by Yellow Line stop: Chokchai 4, Soi 71, Soi 101
The Yellow Line makes the far end of Lat Phrao reachable. Chokchai 4 is coffee territory: Grab lists LIEBE Coffee and Roastery on Chokchai 4 Soi 54 and Hario Cafe Bangkok at number 291, with V60 and siphon coffee. Jao Neua at 213 Chokchai 4 is a 24-hour mookata and shabu buffet. Lat Phrao 71 is the stop for Nak Niwat Road, where Grab names Baan Sen Sai noodles at number 93, Khiao Khai Ka for tom yum and green curry, Nai Chai pork-blood soup from 06:00, and Khrua Pee Lek Hat Yai for Southern curries. Gourmet & Cuisine adds Khru Saithip, a shaded garden restaurant for nam phrik and turmeric fried rice.
Lat Phrao 101 is the last stop before Bang Kapi, where Lat Phrao Road meets Ramkhamhaeng Road and its own run of Ramkhamhaeng restaurants. Gourmet & Cuisine lists SAHA Steak and Butcher at 281 Soi 101, dry-ageing Thai beef from Sakon Nakhon and Mukdahan. Ramen Ah on Lat Phrao 71 stays open until 03:00 according to Grab.
Lat Phrao cafes and brunch
For brunch with a drink, Tunu Tarnar’s 09:00 to 15:00 service is the only one on this list. For coffee, Unfinished Coffee Roaster on Wang Hin Soi 46 is the serious choice: The Standard and Time Out both describe choosing your own bean and roast, and the signature Es-Yen at 120 baht goes with the 75-baht Guest Banana fritter. It closes at 17:30 and, by two accounts, on Mondays. Grab’s 30-cafe Lat Phrao list adds Wake Up Darling on Lat Phrao Soi 1 from 07:30, Forestpresso on Sangkhom Songkhro 11 with a rainforest-style garden, and ARTLAB Craft and Cafe on Lat Phrao 21. More in cafes in Bangkok and brunch in Bangkok.
Lat Phrao street food and late night food
Wang Hin Road is where Lat Phrao eats cheaply and late. Grab lists Song braised duck at 82 Wang Hin, open from 09:00 until 04:00; Thawichai braised duck at 345-346, open from 05:00; Rad Na Fa Chai on Soi 67; Pho ‘54 on Soi 60; and Winner House on Soi 75 for pho and nem nuong. Suki Teenoi on Wang Hin Soi 59 runs until 05:00. None of them publishes prices, so they sit outside the ranked list. For more, see street food in Bangkok.
Getting there: MRT Phahon Yothin, BTS Ha Yaek Lat Phrao, Yellow Line
For Central Ladprao, use MRT Phahon Yothin exit 3, about 200 metres on foot, or BTS Ha Yaek Lat Phrao exit 1 or 3. MRT Lat Phrao, one stop east, is the interchange for the Yellow Line and the closest station to Chokdee Dimsum and Lazy Sol. The Yellow Line then follows Lat Phrao Road: Phawana for Tunu Tarnar, Chokchai 4, Lat Phrao 71 for Nak Niwat, Lat Phrao 83, Mahat Thai, Lat Phrao 101 and Bang Kapi.
