Bang Na restaurants split into two worlds: the BTS side around Udom Suk, Bang Na and Bearing stations, where Sukhumvit 103 to 105 and Lasalle hold noodle shops, cafes and Burmese and Isan kitchens, and the driving side along Bangna-Trad Road, Debaratna Road and the Outer Ring Road, where families go for seafood houses, garden restaurants and the big malls. The list has 14 places whose menus and prices can be checked against public sources: six on the streets of Bang Na and eight inside Mega Bangna, the mall at kilometre 8 that has its own full guide. Ranking comes from Google rating and review volume, verifiable dishes, and editorial judgement.

Budget in three bands. Single dishes in the Udom Suk and Lasalle sois, or a noodle bowl in the mall, run 60 to 220 baht. Sit-down mall chains and family seafood houses cost 250 to 500 baht a head. Tonkatsu sets, Korean barbecue and a pond-side party dinner land between 500 and 1,000. Mega Bangna is at kilometre 8 of Bangna-Trad Road, technically in Bang Phli, Samut Prakan, with free parking (more than 12,000 spaces, per Thai Post) and a free shuttle from BTS Udom Suk exit 5. Central Bangna, the other big mall, sits nearer town on the same road and is a separate centre.

Mega Bangna in brief

Mega Bangna, at kilometre 8 of Bangna-Trad Road just over the line in Bang Phli, is where most of Bang Na eats at the weekend, and it has close to 200 food outlets of its own. The short version: most restaurants sit in Mega FoodWalk, the semi-outdoor strip across floors 1 and 2, with Japanese names such as Tonkatsu AOKI and Hitori Shabu, plus Kam’s Roast for Hong Kong goose, downstairs and Korean barbecue and the big buffets upstairs. Katsu Midori’s conveyor sushi is in Fountain Plaza on floor 1, and Gyu-Kaku is by the IKEA entrance. The eight mall places on this list are the ones whose floor, unit and prices are on public record. For the zone map, the Japanese and Korean clusters, buffet prices, the two food courts and the shuttle details, see our full guide to Mega Bangna restaurants.

Best Bang Na restaurants outside the mall

The old Bang Na is along Debaratna Road, the first few kilometres of Bangna-Trad. Faikham at Soi Bangna-Trat 30 is the reference family restaurant: more than 150 seats, an air-conditioned room plus shaded outdoor tables, a big car park and no service charge, with Wongnai-listed prices such as steamed sea bass with lime at 420 baht. Era-Izaan at number 389 is where Bang Na goes for beer with proper Isan food, from pork jaew hon hot pot to grilled chicken livers. Don Pino in For You Park is the small Italian room for a quieter dinner; it takes phone bookings and stops orders at 21:30.

On the BTS side, Better Half on Lasalle Soi 10 is a 07:30 opener, cosy enough for a laptop morning, with power sockets and free water, though reviewers warn the soi floods in heavy rain. Yoe Yoe Lae inside The Coast Bangkok, close to BTS Bang Na, is one of the few sit-down Burmese kitchens in this part of town. Grab’s Bang Na list adds cheap local institutions with no published prices: Rad Na Fa Chai at 932 Sukhumvit 103, Ped Palo Ko Liang in Soi Udom Suk from 07:00, and Ratcharot beef noodles on Lasalle 79 until 16:30.

Bangna-Trad and the ring road: garden restaurants and seafood

Bangna-Trad has always been a seafood road for people with cars. Beyond Faikham, Grab names Ang Sila Bangna Seafood at the mouth of Krisdanakorn 21 for steamed crab and grilled prawns, the Hua Pla Chong Nonsi fish-head hot pot branch at kilometre 5, and Silawat Seafood on Sanphawut Road. Further out, Bueng Yai sits on the Eastern Outer Ring Road frontage between On Nut and Bang Na, about 15 minutes from the Bang Na intersection. It is a large pond-side terrace with private rooms for 10 to 50 people and karaoke, and the most-recommended dishes on Wongnai are seafood hor mok in young coconut, fried fish with fish sauce and grilled prawns. Wongnai reviews are mixed on service speed, so go for the setting and the group capacity, and order your mains in one go.

Getting around Bang Na: BTS stations and the Mega Bangna shuttle

The free shuttle leaves from BTS Udom Suk exit 5, boarding at the stop in front of the 7-Eleven at Udomsuk Phatthana market. Mega Bangna’s service page gives operating hours of 08:00 to 23:30; a 2026 traveller’s guide reports buses roughly every 20 to 30 minutes, a 25-passenger cap and the front door as the only entrance. City buses 2, 23, 145, 180, 206 and 207 also serve the mall. By car it is kilometre 8 outbound on Bangna-Trad with free parking. For the BTS-side restaurants, Udom Suk serves Sukhumvit 103, Bang Na serves BITEC and The Coast, and Bearing is the stop for Lasalle. If you are staying further in, see On Nut restaurants and Sukhumvit restaurants, and brunch in Bangkok for weekend mornings.
