Buffets in Bangkok in 2026: net vs ++ prices, time limits and booking

Four numbers decide whether a Bangkok buffet is good value: the price, whether that price is net or ++, the time limit, and what drinks cost. The table puts all 18 side by side with the most recent published figures; promotions move them, so check with the restaurant on the day.

The ++ sign means 10 percent service and then 7 percent VAT, so a ++ price grows by about 17.7 percent at the till. Wisdom shows the arithmetic plainly: its 1,399++ Signature package is 1,647 baht net. When two places look close on paper, compare net to net.

Booking splits the list in two. NAMA and both Copper branches take reservations only. Copper opens its booking windows on the 10th and 25th of each month and charges the full amount upfront, which means a family birthday has to be planned around those dates. Wisdom books by round, with sittings at 10:00, 12:15, 14:30, 16:45 and 19:00, and KTC warns that the deposit may not come back if you cancel. Wongnai reviewers suggest booking Hongdae ahead for Friday and Saturday evenings, and a reviewer at Myeongryun Jinsa Galbi warns of queues on holidays and at dinner.

Seafood buffets in Bangkok: sashimi lines and charcoal prawns

A seafood buffet in Bangkok is one of two different meals. The first is the Japanese hotel version. At NAMA, Wongnai reviewers single out uni, ikura and anago sushi, and the DIY don station lets you pile unlimited sashimi over rice. Each diner also chooses one exclusive plate, such as the maguro set of otoro, chutoro and akami. If you want a Japanese buffet in Bangkok, NAMA is the hotel-level answer on this list and Chu Grill’s sushi bar is the budget one.

The second is the Thai grilled version, where seafood means river prawns, crab and oysters over charcoal. Bar B Q Resort’s iced counter carries all three plus scallops and squid, and its cooked line adds glass noodles baked with prawns. Reviewers are blunt that freshness varies, the crab in particular, which is the trade at 320 baht. Kuang Seafood on Ratchada Soi 10 sits in between: Hungry Hub reviewers praise the crab in curry powder and the baked prawns, but say the grilled prawns come slowly, so order them first. River prawns turn up at almost every price. They are on Wisdom’s 799++ Delight tier, Hongdae’s 599++ tier and You&I’s super premium tier. Rim Nam Barbeque sells a separate charcoal seafood grill for 79 baht with a coupon for a seafood basket. Crab comes curry-fried at Kuang and on the iced counter at Bar B Q Resort.

Hotel buffets in Bangkok for lunch and dinner

Two of the 18 are hotel buffets, and they show the spread. Greenhouse on the 7th floor of Avani Sukhumvit runs a lunch sitting from 12:00 to 14:30 and a dinner sitting from 17:00 to 21:30 at the same price; what changes the price is the day, 790 baht Monday to Thursday and 890 Friday to Sunday. The glass-walled room opens onto a terrace with its own bar facing the Sukhumvit skyline, and you book on 02 079 7555. NAMA is the other end. It opens 11:00 to 22:00 with one price all day, two-hour sittings and five self-service zones: sashimi, tempura, teppanyaki, seafood with the don station, and salads and desserts. Many hotel buffets are sold through Hungry Hub or Eatigo at promotional prices that change from month to month. Those offers are real, but they do not stay fixed long enough to rank, so this list carries only hotel buffets with published prices. International buffets in Bangkok malls: Copper, Wisdom and Great Harbour

Three of the international buffets on this list are in malls, and two of them are ordered at the table rather than carried from a line. Copper’s original branch is at The Sense Pinklao, and its April 2026 price cut changed the maths: the Pinklao branch now starts at 999 baht, while the Gaysorn Amarin branch stayed at 1,400 according to The Standard, and Trip.com quotes 1,499 to 1,699 there. The Sense also sells packages from 1,599 baht for foie gras up to 2,499, each adding one special plate such as lobster or a wagyu tomahawk to the unlimited menu. KTC’s menu guide names khao soi with braised beef cheek and seared scallops in champagne sauce among the plates to order. The Pinklao branch is 300 metres from Central Pinklao and about a kilometre from MRT Bang Yi Khan. Its seating times differ by source, so confirm the slot when you book.

Wisdom International Buffet in Siam Paragon prices by ladder. The 999++ Platinum tier adds wagyu and abalone sushi and picanha teppanyaki, the 1,899++ Diamond tier otoro, foie gras sushi and wagyu ribeye, and the 2,999++ Elite tier bafun uni, A5 wagyu sushi and lobster thermidor. Great Harbour at ICONSIAM works from six self-service stations, and the size is the point: around 400 seats and more than 80 dishes, with roast duck, wagyu sushi, eel rice, oysters and a cheese selection. Korean BBQ, shabu and mookata buffets

Korean barbecue buffets work by order sheet: you tick the cuts and staff bring them. Hongdae’s base tier covers belly, neck, collar and bulgogi plus black Angus beef, and 399++ adds grilled salmon. Myeongryun Jinsa Galbi builds the meal around its soy-marinated pork rib, with French rack and pork collar on the side and ramyeon to finish; a Wongnai reviewer warns of queues on holidays. At Central Ladprao, Sukishi cooks over real charcoal, and reviewers there name the smoky flavour, fresh prawns and soy-marinated salmon, with kimchi soup and rice included. For hot pot, the broth list is what separates the shops. You&I leads with shark-fin, mala tom yum and truffle broths, ShabuBomb gives a larger group up to nine broths, among them a mild mala, a sweet-savoury dark broth and an Isan jaew hon, and Hon Buffet serves each diner a separate pot with an Isan line of larb and som tam alongside. Chu Grill’s split pan suits groups who cannot agree between soup and grill, but it charges 100 baht per 100 g for food left on the plate. More shabu and suki is in hot pot in Bangkok.

Mookata, the Thai dome grill with broth in the moat, is where most of the cheap buffets on this list sit. Cheap buffets in Bangkok under 400 baht, with no clock running

Every cheap buffet in Bangkok on this list sits away from Sukhumvit: Pinklao, Charan Sanitwong, Banthat Thong and Chan Road. Under 300 baht you have ShabuBomb at 219 without drinks, Thailaos Bar Grill from 229, Hon Buffet at about 234 plus, Chu Grill’s entry tier at 249++, Tidmun at 276 net and Rim Nam Barbeque at 299. Rim Nam’s tables run along the Chao Phraya under Phra Pinklao Bridge, and in February a reviewer arriving at 17:30 found them already gone. The no-time-limit buffets are all grills: Bar B Q Resort, Tidmun, Rim Nam and the 399 tier at Thailaos Bar Grill. The catch is late-night stock. A December 2024 reviewer at Bar B Q Resort found the soft drinks gone by about 22:00, so arrive early if the full line matters. Booking apps, promotions and getting there

Hungry Hub and Eatigo change the price of the bigger buffets. NAMA’s 1,499 package sits on Hungry Hub, Kuang Seafood sells its buffet there, and Great Harbour has been listed from 899 baht against 1,099++ at the door, while Eatigo advertised up to 50 percent off in March 2026. Date every promotion you see; a screenshot from last quarter is not a price. For the cheap grills and shabu shops, the price at the door is the price.

Getting there: BTS Chit Lom for NAMA and Copper at Gaysorn Amarin, BTS Siam for Hongdae and Wisdom, BTS Phrom Phong for You&I, and BTS On Nut for Greenhouse, which you can walk into straight from the station. Chu Grill is a ten-minute walk from BTS National Stadium, and parking there is hard. Kuang is the Ratchada seafood house nearest MRT Huai Khwang. ICONSIAM is reached by BTS Saphan Taksin and the shuttle boat, or the Gold Line to Charoen Nakhon. On the Thonburi side, drive: Bar B Q Resort, Tidmun, Rim Nam and ShabuBomb all have parking, and Hon Buffet has lots at the front and the back.
