About

Hon Buffet, on Borommaratchachonnani Road about a kilometre north-west of Central Pinklao, pairs individual sukiyaki pots with a large Isan food line. Google shows 4.6 from more than 1,300 reviews.

The most recent Wongnai review (January 2026) gives two tiers: 234 baht plus tax and service for the hot pot and food line without drinks, and 345 baht plus with drinks. A March 2025 reviewer paid 250 and 369 baht net, and another quotes a 289-baht starting price that includes a drink refill. Richer broths such as thick tom yum cost extra, and two reviewers mention a 120-minute seating limit. Children under 100 cm eat free, with a child price up to 130 cm.

Members vote for the house jaew dip ('jaew hon'), the old-style suki sauce, fried chicken wings and the ice cream. From the Isan side, reviewers name duck larb, corn som tam, grilled chicken, grilled pork-neck salad and beef tongue. One review warns of bone fragments in some cuts. The room is big, and there is parking at the front and the back; one reviewer found it emptier at midday than in the evening. Listed hours differ: Google gives 11:00–23:00, the Wongnai listing 16:00–23:59.
