Mega Bangna restaurants are where Bang Na, Srinakarin and Bang Phli eat at the weekend: a mall at the eastern edge of the city with IKEA at one end, free parking and most of the big chain brands under one roof. The mall says it has close to 200 food outlets. This page picks the eight inside it with floor, unit, menu and prices confirmed in public sources, ranked on Google rating and review volume, verifiable dishes and editorial judgement, then sorts the rest of the building by zone so you know which end to park at.

Budget in three bands. The food courts and small chains cost 80 to 200 baht a head. Sit-down rooms such as Jaguemsong, Katsu Midori and Kam’s Roast land between 250 and 500. Buffets, tonkatsu sets and Korean barbecue run 400 to 1,000. There is no rail station at the door: Mega Bangna sits at kilometre 8 of Bang Na-Trat Road, outbound, technically in Bang Phli, Samut Prakan. Drivers get free parking; everyone else takes the free shuttle from BTS Udom Suk exit 5.

Mega Bangna restaurants by zone: FoodWalk, Fountain Plaza and the IKEA side

In a mall this long, the zone matters more than the floor. Think of three areas. Mega FoodWalk, on floors 1 and 2, holds most of the restaurants and five of the eight here: Tonkatsu AOKI, Kam’s Roast and Hitori Shabu downstairs, SSamthing Together and Jaguemsong upstairs. Fountain Plaza on floor 1 is the second cluster, with Katsu Midori by the exit to Mega Plaza, and TrueID places Wisdom International Buffet and Neta Grill in the same zone.

The third area is the IKEA end. TrueID lists Gyu-Kaku on floor 1 right at the IKEA entrance, with Coen Sushi Bar and Long John Silver’s on floor 2 on the same side. The IKEA restaurant itself is inside the IKEA building. Two places on our list are easiest to find by number or colour: Yuzu Suki is unit 2822 on floor 2, and 7th Street is in the Orange zone on floor 1. If you are looking for a full mega bangna directory, the mall keeps a searchable store guide on its own site; this page is the shorter version for deciding where to eat.

Mega FoodWalk: the semi-outdoor dining street

Mega FoodWalk holds most of the mall’s sit-down restaurants. It is built as a semi-outdoor street landscaped like a valley, with rocks, a stream and waterfalls, and an open space in the middle shaped like an amphitheatre where people sit between meals and the mall stages events. The mall’s page counts more than 130 restaurants in one paragraph and over 165 food stores in another; it grew by more than 30 in January 2018 and took a Popular Choice prize in the shopping-centre category of the Architizer A+ Awards.

Beyond these eight, the mall names Baan Ying, Bar-B-Q Plaza, Fam Time, Greyhound Cafe, Hua Seng Hong, La Meow Mala, Maguro, MK, Ohkajhu, Oishi Grand, Salad Factory and Thongsmith as FoodWalk tenants. Its restaurant guide adds Khao-Sō-i, Bincho, Sushi Seki, Maguro Sushi and Iroha Ramen on floor 1, and the Vietnamese An Com An Ca, Solsot, You&I and Hong Min on floor 2. Floor 1 leans Japanese and Thai; floor 2 is where the Korean barbecue and the buffets gather.

Japanese restaurants at Mega Bangna

Japanese is the deepest category in the building. Katsu Midori is the busiest: Wongnai reviewers say the branch is full almost all the time, the mall’s guide points to hon maguro, engawa and the premium sushi set, and the QueQ app lets you take a number and keep shopping. Tonkatsu AOKI, a Tabelog Top 100 tonkatsu house from Tokyo brought in by the Maguro Group, serves thick pork with three salts. Hitori Shabu solves the solo meal. Yuzu Suki suits two or three people who want a fixed amount of good pork or beef rather than a timed buffet.

For volume over ceremony, TrueID lists Sushiro on FoodWalk floor 2 from 40 baht a plate, SUSHiPLUS on floor 1 at 30 baht, Ippudo ramen on floor 2, Honmono Sushi on floor 1 and Yakiniku Like on FoodWalk floor 1, a one-person grill. Gyu-Kaku at the IKEA entrance covers table yakiniku. For the city-wide picture, see Japanese restaurants in Bangkok and, for shabu and sukiyaki elsewhere, hot pot in Bangkok.

Korean and Chinese restaurants at Mega Bangna

Korean food concentrates on floor 2 of FoodWalk. SSamthing Together is the group option, with a server at the grill; its Mega Bangna page on Wongnai also recommends ramyeon, japchae and the kimchi tofu soup. Jaguemsong is the cheap bowl for one. TrueID adds three more in the same zone: Saemaeul Sikdang, known for its seven-minute kimchi stew; Nice Two Meat U for grilled pork belly; and Hasul, with pork belly sets in the open-air section of floor 2. BHC Chicken is on floor 1 by the cinema.

The Chinese side is smaller. Kam’s Roast is the one on the list, a Hong Kong roast-meat brand where goose and duck are the point; Khaosod reports char siu rice at 220 baht at this branch. Hungry Hub lists Hong Min on floor 2 with a Peking duck buffet including a drink at about 790 baht, and Boon Tong Kee’s Singapore chicken rice on floor 2.

Thai food and the Mega Bangna food court

None of the eight is Thai, but the sources put several Thai kitchens on the map. Baan Ying on FoodWalk floor 1 is the safe family pick; the mall recommends its creamy omelette rice with prawns and the fried rice with shrimp-paste chilli dip. Khao-Sō-i, also on floor 1 of FoodWalk, serves northern khao soi with chicken or beef and sai ua sausage. TrueID places Som Tam Nua and Baan Ice on FoodWalk floor 1 and Nittaya Kai Yang on floor 2; Hungry Hub adds Earw Thai Suki Boran on floor 1. These sit outside the ranked list.

For the mega bangna food court, there are two. Food Republic on floor 2 is the air-conditioned one, and a Wongnai review of its Hainanese chicken rice stall puts lunch under 100 baht. The second sits beside the Mega Cineplex cinema; Thai Holiday Guide calls it large and inexpensive and puts most meals in the mall at roughly 80 to 150 baht.

Buffet at Mega Bangna

The ranked list covers à la carte restaurants, but published buffet prices are useful for planning a group meal. At the entry level, TrueID and Hungry Hub record AKA on FoodWalk floor 2 at about 359 baht plus tax, Sukishi Korean Charcoal Grill on FoodWalk floor 1 at about 399 plus tax, and the Shabushi conveyor in the Orange zone at about 399 for 90 minutes. In the middle sit You&I on floor 2 (about 498), Neta Grill in Fountain Plaza and Tenjo on floor 2 (about 499 plus tax each) and Kagonoya on FoodWalk floor 1 (549 plus tax).

At the top, Mo-Mo-Paradise on FoodWalk floor 2 is about 659 baht. Oishi Grand on floor 2 starts at about 699, with a Prestige package at 1,119. Wisdom International Buffet is about 999 plus tax for two hours, and Laem Charoen Seafood’s premium buffet is about 899 with a one-hour advance booking. All of these move with promotions. For buffets across the city, see buffet in Bangkok.

Getting there: free shuttle from BTS Udom Suk, buses, parking and hours

The mega bangna shuttle from BTS Udom Suk is the most useful fact on this page if you do not drive. Take exit 5, walk to the bus stop in front of Udom Suk market, a little past the 7-Eleven, and board by the front door. The mall’s service page gives hours of 08:00 to 23:30. A traveller’s guide updated in July 2026 says the first bus leaves Udom Suk at 08:00 and the last leaves the mall at 23:30, and reports a bus every 20 to 30 minutes depending on traffic, 25 passengers per run, a morning crowd around 09:30 when mall staff ride in before opening, and stops at the Mega Terminal near Big C Extra and at the IKEA car park. Buses 2, 23, 145, 180, 206 and 207 also pass the mall; the 180 drops you on the far side of the highway, so you cross by the footbridge.

By car it is kilometre 8 outbound on Bang Na-Trat Road. Mega Bangna parking is free, and Thai Post reported more than 12,000 spaces once the IKEA-side car park opened. The mall is open 10:00 to 22:00 daily, though some restaurants close earlier. For the restaurants along Bang Na-Trat, Debaratna Road and Lasalle, see our Bang Na restaurants guide; for the BTS stops closer to town, On Nut restaurants.

FAQ

7 questions
What is Mega FoodWalk at Mega Bangna?

Mega FoodWalk is the semi-outdoor restaurant zone of Mega Bangna, spread over floors 1 and 2. The mall's page describes it as landscaped like a valley, with rocks, streams and waterfalls and an amphitheatre-style space in the middle, and counts more than 130 restaurants in one place and over 165 food stores in another. It added more than 30 restaurants in January 2018 and won a Popular Choice prize at the Architizer A+ Awards.

Which buffet restaurants are at Mega Bangna?

Prices recorded by TrueID and Hungry Hub: AKA on FoodWalk floor 2 from about 359 baht plus tax, Sukishi Korean Charcoal Grill on floor 1 about 399 plus tax, Shabushi in the Orange zone about 399, Kagonoya 549 plus tax, Mo-Mo-Paradise about 659, Oishi Grand from about 699 and Wisdom International Buffet about 999 plus tax for two hours. Promotions move these numbers, so check the brand's page before you go.

How do I get to Mega Bangna from BTS Udom Suk?

Leave BTS Udom Suk by exit 5 and walk to the bus stop in front of Udom Suk market, just past the 7-Eleven. The free Mega Bangna shuttle runs from 08:00, with the last bus back from the mall at 23:30. A 2026 traveller's guide reports departures every 20 to 30 minutes and a 25-passenger limit. It stops at the Mega Terminal near Big C Extra and at the IKEA car park.

Is parking free at Mega Bangna?

Yes, parking at Mega Bangna is free, and there is a lot of it. Thai Post reported that the new eight-storey car park on the IKEA side took the total to more than 12,000 spaces, with a second phase adding another 1,750 planned for 2028. The IKEA-side building is the one to aim for if you are eating at the IKEA end of the mall or at Gyu-Kaku.

What time do Mega Bangna restaurants open and close?

The mall lists 10:00 to 22:00 every day, and Mega FoodWalk keeps the same hours. Individual restaurants can close earlier: Kam's Roast on FoodWalk floor 1 closes at 21:00 Monday to Thursday and 21:30 Friday to Sunday. The free shuttle from BTS Udom Suk starts at 08:00 and the last one leaves the mall at 23:30, so a late dinner still gets you back to the BTS without a taxi.

Is Mega Bangna in Bangkok or Samut Prakan?

Strictly, Samut Prakan. Mega Bangna's address is kilometre 8 of Bang Na-Trat Road on the outbound side, in Bang Kaeo subdistrict, Bang Phli district, a short way past the Bangkok boundary, though it is widely called the Bang Na mall. Central Bangna, closer to the city on the same road, is a different shopping centre, so check which one a booking or a friend means.

Where is the food court at Mega Bangna?

Sources place two. The Food Republic zone is on floor 2; a Wongnai review of the Hainanese chicken rice stall there puts the cost under 100 baht a head. The second is next to the Mega Cineplex cinema, which Thai Holiday Guide describes as large and cheap, with most meals in the mall around 80 to 150 baht. Both suit a quick lunch better than the sit-down FoodWalk rooms.
