Terminal 21 restaurants by floor: 4, 5 and the 1st-floor desserts

Every floor of Terminal 21 is named after a city, and the names are how staff give directions. LG is Caribbean, with the Gourmet Market supermarket and its takeaway counters. M is Paris, where the BTS skywalk arrives. Floor 1 is Tokyo, and that is where After You sits, which surprises people who go looking for dessert among the restaurants upstairs. Floor 6 is Hollywood, the cinema.

Floor 4 is the first restaurant level. Besides the seven places ranked here, the mall directory lists Mo-Mo-Paradise shabu in unit 4013, CoCo Ichibanya curry in 4009, Warng Warng mala shabu in 4001 and Swensen’s in units 4027 to 4028, opposite Thai Thai. Floor 5 is the busier of the two because Pier 21 shares it with about twenty chain restaurants. The mall’s 5th-floor directory lists Penguin Eat Shabu in unit 5003, Sushi Plus, BurnBusaba, Ramen Kagetsu Arashi, Tonkatsu Wako, Bake Brothers, Bonchon, Moom Muum Park, Tohkai Yakiniku, Baan Ying, Santa Fe and ThongSmith alongside Savoey and Kub Kao Kub Pla.

Directories lag behind the shopfronts. When this guide was checked, the mall’s online 4th-floor list did not show Grill Yamaya, Jones’ Salad or The Steak & More, though Grill Yamaya and Jones’ Salad still list a Terminal 21 Asok branch on their own websites and Wongnai still has a page for The Steak & More here (the unit number it gives, 4001, belongs to Warng Warng in the mall directory). The 5th-floor list does not show Firepork either. If you are heading for one specific restaurant, the printed floor plan by the escalators is more current than the website.

Pier 21 food court: how to pay, prices and when to go

The Terminal 21 Asok food court runs on a prepaid card, and the stalls refuse cash and credit cards. Find the counter marked COUPON near the entrance, load credit onto a card, then hand the card over at each stall you order from. Travjoy’s 2026 guide gives 100 baht as the minimum top-up and says the refund only works the same day, at the same counter, before you leave the mall.

A Lemon8 post from September 2023 listed tom yum noodles at 38 baht, crispy pork and roast duck on rice at 40, Vietnamese-style kuay jab at 28 and curry over rice at 28. The Thailand with Monchai blog went back in March 2025 and still rated Pier 21 cheaper than the other central food halls, which it priced at 80 to 250 baht a dish at Siam Paragon, 100 to 250 at CentralWorld and 120 to 300 at EmQuartier. Travjoy now puts most Pier 21 dishes at 40 to 90 baht, so prices have risen since 2023.

The mall directory’s current stall list includes a vegetarian counter, Jok Chula rice porridge, Mae Sriwan Sukhothai noodles, Tai Heng chicken rice, a St Louis stall for pad thai and oyster omelette, and Nakhon Pathom braised pork leg. Monchai’s picks are som tam, pad thai, green curry and mango sticky rice, with stir-fried morning glory as a vegetarian plate. Travjoy puts the seating pinch at roughly 11:45 to 13:30 and again 18:30 to 20:00, when the Asok office towers empty out; arrive around 11:00 or after 20:30 and a table comes quickly. 4th floor: sit-down chains for a quick lunch

Floor 4 suits anyone with an hour and a few hundred baht. Yakiniku Like is the fastest: one seat, one burner, rice, soup and kimchi with the set. Reviewers of the chain say some cuts run fatty, so pick harami if you want leaner meat. The Steak & More is one of the cheaper tables on the floor; Minor Food launched the brand in December 2024 with meals from 129 baht and more than twenty sides, several of them Thai, and diners rate the pork above the chicken.

Thai Thai is a boat-noodle shop with a long menu that also covers khao soi and som tam. Yuzu Group says the broth uses 26 herbs and spices, and a 2026 reviewer was given free refills of crispy wontons. Grill Yamaya’s website lists only two branches, this one and Dusit Central Park, and is the one to choose for a grilled fish set with unlimited rice. Mix sets with à la carte plates and the free refills stop.

For groups, Have a Zeed is the Isan option at 251 to 500 baht a head on Wongnai; more than 2,000 people have reviewed it on Google, for a 4.1 score. Ponn Café is the place for a lighter plate after shopping: the menu takes in Chinese and Muslim influences, and Wongnai’s photos show prawn pad thai. Jones’ Salad covers wraps, soups, rice bowls and cold-pressed juice beyond its salad bar, and most dressings are free.

5th floor beyond the food court: Thai seafood, Korean grill and buffets

Savoey is the room to bring guests or family. The group’s own signature list includes mud crab stir-fried in yellow curry sauce, steamed sea bass with lime and chilli, tom yum goong with river prawns and baked pineapple fried rice, and Ryoii adds bua loy in coconut milk and a blended mango sticky rice drink. Kub Kao Kub Pla, a few doors away, is the cheaper Thai table: the chain’s signatures are crispy pork with chilli and salt and pork fried with shrimp paste. Firepork sells Korean pork barbecue in sets; Pattaya reviewers also order the Egg Bomb, bibimbap and tteokbokki on the side.

Most of the mall’s buffets are on this floor too. Ryoii lists Tohkai yakiniku (unit 5017) at 499, 799, 999 and 1,499 baht net for two hours and Penguin Eat Shabu (unit 5003) at 359 to 899 baht for 90 minutes with sushi. Warng Warng, a Taiwanese mala shabu that Ryoii prices at 699++, is one floor down in unit 4001 per the mall directory. They are not ranked because their current menus could not be confirmed in full. Ryoii also points to Tonkatsu Wako, still in the 5th-floor directory, which cooks rice in hakama pots and makes its own breadcrumbs, at 200 to 500 baht. Restaurants near Terminal 21 you can walk to

The mall closes at 22:00, and the sois around it fill the gap. Indique, an Indian gastrobar in the SQ Boutique Hotel at the mouth of Soi 19, is a few minutes’ walk from the mall, scores 4.9 on Google from more than 4,500 reviews and serves until 23:30. Hanako, further up Soi 19, is an evening-only izakaya. Tamaruya Honten on Asok Montri Road grills Japanese beef about 200 metres away, and Oniku to Gohan in Jasmine City at the mouth of Soi 23 runs its charcoal grills until 02:00. Rossini’s, the Italian at the Sheraton Grande opposite, connects by skywalk. All of them, with prices and dishes, are ranked in Asok restaurants, and the whole road is covered in Sukhumvit restaurants. Terminal 21 Asok vs Rama 3 vs Pattaya: check the branch

Reviews and listings under the Terminal 21 name often mix in other malls. Terminal 21 Rama 3 is a separate mall on the Chao Phraya with no rail link, and it names its zones after villages, such as Italian Village. TrueID’s guide to that branch lists Yakiniku Like on floor 2 with sets from 169 baht, You & I Premium Suki Buffet on floor 1, and SUSHiPLUS on floor 2 with sushi from 30 baht. Terminal 21 Pattaya and Terminal 21 Korat are outside Bangkok. If a review talks about river views or a Village zone, it is about Rama 3, not Asok.

Getting in from BTS Asok and MRT Sukhumvit, and parking

From BTS Asok, the skywalk runs straight into the M floor; from there the central escalators climb to 4 and 5. MRT Sukhumvit connects to the LG floor, so from the Blue Line you ride up through G and M. Neither route touches the street, which makes Terminal 21 an easy meeting point for people coming from different lines. For drivers, Travjoy’s 2026 guide says the multi-storey car park is entered from Sukhumvit Road heading towards the Asok intersection, and that the approach queues at weekends.
