CentralWorld Restaurants: 13 Places to Eat by Floor, in Groove and Up the Centara Tower
CentralWorld restaurants by floor with room numbers: the 7th-floor dining zone, Japanese on 3 and 6, late meals in Groove, food-court prices and the BTS.
CentralWorld restaurants are spread over five floors of the main mall, a separate wing called Groove and a hotel tower, so the useful question is less where to eat than which floor to ride up to. This guide gives the floor, and the room number wherever one is published, for 13 places whose menus and prices are documented in public sources: a Sichuan hot pot on the 7th floor that serves until 3am, a single-pot shabu counter on the 3rd, well below the main dining floors, Japanese and Thai kitchens in Groove that keep going after the main building closes, and two tables up the Centara Grand tower. It is written for visitors staying around Ratchaprasong and Pratunam, and for people meeting friends after work at Central World, as plenty of Bangkok still spells it. The ranking weighs Google rating and review volume, dishes confirmed by reviews or menus, and editorial judgement.
Plan on three budgets. The FoodWorld food court and Central Food Hall, both on the 7th floor, sell plates for 60 to 250 baht. Sit-down rooms such as CHUNN, Ginger Farm Kitchen and Tsuru Udon land at 250 to 500 baht a head, MAGURO at 400 to 800 and KJP at 300 to 900. Haidilao, Honoho and Oniku to Gohan run from 500 to 1,000 baht a head or more, NAMA’s buffet is 1,499++ to 1,999++, and Red Sky’s packages start at 2,790 baht net. The mall opens 10:00 to 22:00 daily. The easiest way in is BTS Chit Lom, where the elevated Ratchaprasong skywalk leads into the mall without a road crossing; BTS Siam joins the same skywalk from the west. Drivers use the mall’s own car park, which has more than 6,000 spaces.

CentralWorld restaurants by floor: 7, 6, 5, 3 and Groove
Floor numbers matter more here than in most Bangkok malls, because the restaurants are not all stacked at the top. The 7th floor is the main dining level, split into a Beacon side and an Atrium side, with the most sit-down rooms, the FoodWorld food court and the cinema. The 6th floor is the second dining floor, where Japanese and Korean brands gather near the cinema escalators. The 5th floor has Urban Balance, a strip of health-minded restaurants. The 3rd floor holds Japan Avenue, a run of Japanese shops the mall groups together, plus a few Thai and seafood names on the Beacon side. Groove is the separate wing facing Ratchadamri Road, with its own street entrance and later hours.
TrueID’s August 2026 list counts more than 60 restaurants in CentralWorld across these floors and Groove. Several are the first Thai branches of foreign brands: Shake Shack on the 1st floor, Sushiro on the 7th, Tsuta ramen on the 3rd and Kam’s Roast, the Hong Kong roast-goose shop, on the 7th. Newer first branches on the same list include Katsu Midori conveyor sushi on the 3rd, and HIKINIKU TO COME hamburg steak and Tonkatsu HAJIME on the 7th, and it also names Kozuri Hand Roll on Groove’s 2nd floor. Prices for these have not been published yet, so they sit outside the ranking. A group that cannot agree gets the most choice per escalator ride on the 7th.
CentralWorld 7th floor: the main dining zone
Three of the ranked restaurants are up here. Haidilao is in room B726 on the Beacon side, CO LIMITED is near the cinemas, and CHUNN is in room B715 in Zone B, beside MK. The rest of the floor, per TrueID, covers most of what a group is likely to argue about: Sushiro for conveyor sushi, Din Tai Fung, Saemaeul Sikdang for Korean grilled pork, Nong Geng Ji for Hunan cooking and Yakiniku Like, the solo-grill chain whose sets start at 179 baht according to the blog thejourneymoment.
The trap on the 7th floor is closing time. Most restaurants shut with the mall at 22:00, and CHUNN stops earlier, at 21:00 Monday to Thursday and 21:30 from Friday to Sunday. Haidilao is the exception, listed until 03:00. If you reach the floor after 21:30, go straight to Haidilao or head down and out to Groove. For beef, the two ranked options suit different evenings: CHUNN is a quick rice bowl for one, while CO LIMITED’s beef-fat fried rice with a sirloin is a sit-down meal for a table before a film, with tom yum and papaya salad on the same menu.
Japanese and Korean on the 6th and 3rd floors
For a Japanese restaurant at CentralWorld, the 6th floor has the most choice. MAGURO is in room A606 and Tsuru Udon in B635, and TrueID adds Tonkatsu Wako, Daisen omakase and Tenjo, a sushi and yakiniku buffet, to the same floor. On the Korean side, thejourneymoment puts Hanam BBQ at 500 to 1,000 baht a head. Tsuru Udon is small and closes at 21:00, an hour before its neighbours, and its noodles are boiled to order; the Not Your Typical Tourist blog says to allow about ten minutes for a hot bowl and fifteen for a cold one.
The 3rd floor is easy to miss, four levels below the main dining zone. Japan Avenue puts Hitori Shabu (room B332/3A) alongside Tonkatsu Aoki, Kazama Yakiniku and Katsu Midori, and the same floor has Tsuta, Kub Kao’ Kub Pla, ThongSmith boat noodles, Laem Charoen Seafood and Song Fa for bak kut teh. Hitori is a counter with one pot per seat, which makes it the easiest table in the mall for a solo lunch. Google and Wongnai disagree on its closing time (22:00 against 21:00), so come before 21:00 to be safe. For Japanese food beyond the mall, see Japanese restaurants in Bangkok.
Groove at CentralWorld: restaurants that stay open late
Groove is the separate block on the Ratchadamri Road side, joined to the mall but with its own doors onto the street, and it runs on a later clock than the main building. Baannok City Edition is on the 1st floor in G119, and Honoho (G213) and Oniku to Gohan (G214) share the 2nd floor. KJP is the open question: Google and Chope give its address as Groove’s 2nd floor, while Wongnai’s listing, Koktail and a 2022 piece in The Standard put the glasshouse on the 7th floor of the main mall, so phone 097-917-7777 before you walk over. Listed closing times are 00:30 for Honoho and midnight for Oniku to Gohan. KJP’s runs from 22:00 (Wongnai) to 23:00 (Chope) and 23:30 (Google). For Baannok, Daily News reported a midnight close in July 2026, while Google shows 22:00, so call before booking a late table there.
That makes Groove the better plan for an after-work dinner that turns into drinks: Honoho does skewers and sake, and Oniku to Gohan grills beef plate by plate next door. For a drink with a view instead, Red Sky and the CRU Champagne Bar up the Centara Grand tower run until 01:00 according to the hotel; Hungry Hub lists the restaurant until midnight with last orders at 23:30, so confirm when you book. Our guide to rooftop bars in Bangkok has the alternatives across the city. After 01:00, Haidilao on the 7th floor of the main mall is the only kitchen in the complex still listed as open, until 03:00.
CentralWorld food court: FoodWorld and Central Food Hall prices
The CentralWorld food court is FoodWorld, on the 7th floor, the same floor as the cinema, and it is the answer for anyone looking for central world food on a budget. Wongnai reviewers describe Thai street dishes, noodle soups, pad Thai, made-to-order rice plates, chicken rice, Japanese and Chinese counters and desserts, and put the spend at 101 to 250 baht a head.
The second budget option on the same floor is Central Food Hall, where a Wongnai review of the Flavour counter quotes rice with braised abalone at 60 baht and salmon teriyaki rice at 70. On the 1st floor, in the Hak Thai zone, thejourneymoment points to Baan Benjarong Pai, a shop that started in Pai, at 100 to 250 baht a head. Among the ranked restaurants, CHUNN’s 250-baht beef bowl is the cheapest full sit-down meal, and Yakiniku Like on the 7th floor sells sets from 179 baht for anyone eating alone.
For halal food, none of the ranked restaurants lists halal certification, so ask at each counter before you order. The nearest documented options are Red Istanbul on Phetchaburi Road and the certified halal restaurants that MBK Center lists, both covered in our guide to halal restaurants in Bangkok.
Buffet, shabu and hot pot at CentralWorld
Sorted by format, the choice is straightforward. Hitori Shabu on the 3rd floor sells single-pot sets rather than a buffet. Haidilao is à la carte hot pot, plus a sauce-bar charge of about 50 to 60 baht a head and refillable drinks at 39; a Wanderlog review reports waits of one to two hours at peak, so book in the app before Friday and Saturday dinner. For all-you-can-eat shabu, TrueID lists Mo-Mo-Paradise Gold on the 7th floor, and Tajimaya, with its dark soy broth, and You&I Premium Suki Buffet on the 6th. Their current prices are not published in the sources above, so they are not ranked.
The buffet that needs a booking is NAMA, on the 24th floor of the Centara Grand hotel joined to the mall. It runs two-hour sittings with no walk-ins, booked through LINE or Hungry Hub, and the draw is unlimited sashimi with jumbo sweet shrimp, uni and ikura at a build-your-own don station. Prices are written with ++, so add 10 percent service and 7 percent VAT. To compare with the rest of the city, see hot pot in Bangkok and buffets in Bangkok.
Getting there from BTS Chit Lom or Siam, and parking
BTS Chit Lom is the closest station: the elevated Ratchaprasong skywalk runs from the station to CentralWorld, so you never cross Ratchadamri Road at street level. Coming from the Silom line, change at BTS Siam and pick up the same skywalk heading east. Groove has its own entrance on Ratchadamri Road; late at night, ask a taxi for CentralWorld, Ratchadamri side. The Centara Grand lobby, for NAMA and Red Sky, links to the mall, and the hotel lifts go up from there.
The car park takes more than 6,000 cars, according to a release published on ThaiPR. Free-parking terms depend on spend and change with each promotion, so ask at the restaurant before you leave. Pratunam’s markets are across the canal to the north. To keep eating west, the skywalk takes you back to Siam restaurants and Siam Paragon restaurants, and one BTS stop past Siam toward Mo Chit, Ratchathewi restaurants has shops open until 3am.

TrueID's August 2026 roundup marks several first Thai branches: Katsu Midori conveyor-belt sushi on the 3rd floor, and HIKINIKU TO COME hamburg steak and Tonkatsu HAJIME on the 7th. The same list adds Tai Er pickled-cabbage fish on the 7th and Kozuri Hand Roll on Groove's 2nd floor. Wongnai reviewers put a meal there at 101 to 250 baht a head, across Thai street dishes, noodles, pad thai, chicken rice, Japanese and Chinese counters and desserts. Central Food Hall on the same floor is cheaper still: a Wongnai review of its Flavour counter quotes rice with braised abalone at 60 baht and salmon teriyaki rice at 70.
Where can I find halal food at CentralWorld?
None of the restaurants ranked here lists halal certification, so ask at each counter before ordering. The guide to halal restaurants in Bangkok covers both.
Which CentralWorld restaurants stay open after the mall closes?
The mall shuts at 22:00, but Haidilao on the 7th floor is listed until 03:00. In Groove, Honoho Izakaya is listed until 00:30 and Oniku to Gohan until midnight. KJP's closing time is listed anywhere from 22:00 to 23:30, and Baannok City Edition's differs between Daily News (midnight) and Google (22:00), so call ahead for both. Red Sky and the CRU Champagne Bar in the Centara Grand tower run until 01:00. Watch for early closers too: CHUNN shuts at 21:00 Monday to Thursday, and Tsuru Udon at 21:00 every day.

Tell a taxi driver 'Ratchadamri side' to be dropped at its doors.
How do I get to CentralWorld from BTS Chit Lom or Siam?
BTS Chit Lom is the closest station: the elevated Ratchaprasong skywalk runs from the station to the mall, so you never cross the road at street level. BTS Siam, the interchange with the Silom line, connects to the same skywalk from the other side. Drivers can use the mall's car park, which has more than 6,000 spaces; free-parking terms change with each promotion, so ask the restaurant before you leave.
