About
Haidilao is the giant Sichuan hot-pot chain from China, and its first Thai branch opened on the 7th floor of CentralWorld in September 2019. Khaosod English reported at the opening that it would run until 3am, and Google still lists 10:00 to 03:00, which makes it one of the very few mall restaurants around Siam and Ratchaprasong where you can eat after midnight. Pots split into four compartments; a Wongnai reviewer went with mala, mushroom, pork-bone and shiitake broths. The sauce bar is mix-your-own and includes som tam and all-you-can-eat fruit. A Wanderlog review praises the butterhead lettuce and cheese fish balls, and gives useful numbers: six people paid 4,300 baht in total, about 700 a head, while two people ordering heavily reached 2,500 to 3,000 each; there is a sauce-bar charge of roughly 50 to 60 baht per person and refillable drinks at 39. A Wanderlog review reports waits of one to two hours at peak, softened by free snacks and manicures while you wait; booking through the app is the fix. Google 4.8 from 6,658 reviews.
