About

Hitori Shabu is the solo-diner shabu brand of MAGURO Group, the company behind the MAGURO sushi restaurants. The name means 'alone': seating is counter-only and every seat gets its own small pot, which is why Time Out Thailand put it on its list of the best restaurants for singles. The Siam Paragon branch is on the G floor according to both Time Out and Google, open until 22:00 with the mall. You pick a broth first, classic shabu, sweet sukiyaki or truffle soup, then choose meat and vegetable sets. Wongnai lists the branch's most popular items as Kurobuta pork collar and the mixed beef plate; other branches carry A5 wagyu, Kuroge wagyu and Charolais beef, not confirmed for Paragon. Grab's write-up describes tablet ordering at the seat, and Time Out suggests finishing with ice cream. Wongnai files it in its top price tier, but no set prices could be verified from public sources. Google 4.8 from 2,960 reviews, more than the CentralWorld branch's 4.9 from 1,751.
