About

Hitori Shabu is the Maguro Group's single-pot shabu brand. Hitori means "alone" in Japanese and the format follows the name: you sit at a counter with your own pot, order from a tablet and cook Kansai-style shabu at your own pace. The CentralWorld branch is not on the 6th and 7th restaurant floors but on the 3rd floor in the Japan Avenue zone, room B332/3A, alongside Tonkatsu Aoki and Kazama Yakiniku.

Wongnai lists this branch's recommended plates as the mini beef sukiyaki, Charolais beef and Kuroge wagyu. The older Siam Paragon branch is known for its Kurobuta pork collar. CentralWorld has no published price list. For reference, a Wongnai menu photo from the chain's Chic Republic Ratchaphruek branch shows a Buta value set at 295 baht and a Wagyu value set at 395 baht, each with soup, vegetables, rice and ice cream, before 10% service and 7% VAT; that reviewer added one extra meat plate.

Google rates this branch 4.9 from 1,751 reviews, slightly above Paragon's 4.8. Google and TrueID (August 2026) list 10:00 to 22:00; Wongnai gives a 21:00 close.
