CHUNN CentralWorld ฉัน (CHUNN) เซ็นทรัลเวิลด์

CHUNN started as a beef-rice shophouse on Sukhumvit Soi 61 in Ekkamai and now has a mall branch on the 7th floor of CentralWorld, in room B715 of Zone B, near MK. The menu is built around beef: rice bowls, grilled tongue, wagyu fried rice and a few Thai crossovers.

Time Out's 2023 round-up of CentralWorld beef restaurants singles out the beef stew rice bowl at 250 baht, topped with cured egg yolk and fried shallots, along with grilled tongue at 250, beef tartare at 350 and a wagyu katsu sando at 450. Wongnai members recommend the wagyu-fat fried rice with pickled egg at 325 baht and a grilled beef tongue set at 360, and reviewers mention a wagyu pad thai at 290. Wongnai puts the spend at 251 to 500 baht a head.

Reviewers say this branch is brighter than the Ekkamai original and the beef is the same, though some note the sets are limited and come without soup. Google lists 11:00 to 21:00 Monday to Thursday and to 21:30 Friday to Sunday. Google rating 4.5 from 520 reviews.
