About
Kub Kao' Kub Pla is the iBerry group's Thai home-cooking chain, and its EmQuartier branch is on the 6th floor of The Helix, the first of the mall's spiralling dining levels. The name means roughly "dishes to eat with rice", and the menu ranges across the regions, with a strong southern streak and iBerry ice cream for dessert.
TrueID picks out four dishes at this branch that are hard to find in a mall: a salad of cha kram leaves in fresh coconut cream, salted beef simmered in coconut milk, kaeng ranjuan curry with beef shank, and river prawns stir-fried with sataw beans. Across the chain, Wongnai highlights caramelised pork leg, crispy pork with chilli and salt, and bai liang leaves stir-fried with egg; reviewers at this branch also order the fried sea bass with fish sauce and the pomelo salad with crispy prawns. Rice and dishes come out together, and window tables look over the city.
Most Wongnai reviewers spend 251 to 500 baht a head. Google and Wongnai give 10:00 to 22:00; TrueID gives a 21:30 close. Google rates it 4.2 from about 1,600 reviews, and Wongnai 4.0.

iBerry's Thai home-cooking room on floor 6, with plates few mall Thai kitchens bother with: cha kram leaves in fresh coconut cream, kaeng ranjuan with beef shank, river prawns with sataw. Rice and dishes land together, so order in one go.
