About

Sorn is chef Supaksorn 'Ice' Jongsiri's southern Thai restaurant at 56 Sukhumvit Soi 26, and the first restaurant in Thailand to hold three Michelin stars, awarded in the Michelin Guide Thailand 2025 and kept in the 2026 guide, where Time Out's full list shows only two three-star restaurants in the country, Sorn and Sühring. The Michelin page describes a menu built directly on southern produce such as Tapi River prawns, Phuket lobster and Andaman squid, well paced with harmonious flavours. The Bangkok Post and Malay Mail report the set menu at 7,200 baht per person before drinks. It serves dinner only, 18:00 to 22:00, Monday to Friday and Sunday, closed Saturday. Bookings run through the restaurant's own system, opening on the 15th of each month for the following month and selling out fast. Soi 26 is on the even side; it is about fifteen minutes on foot from BTS Phrom Phong or a motorbike from the soi mouth. If you ask which Phrom Phong restaurant matters most on Bangkok's food map, this is the answer.
