About

Victoria by Cocotte, signed as Victoria The Modern Brasserie, is the all-day French-leaning brasserie of Hospitality Management Asia, the Cocotte group. It took over the former Jones the Grocer space on EmQuartier's ground floor (BK Magazine), a few minutes' walk from BTS Phrom Phong, and serves from breakfast to dinner: avocado toast and eggs Benedict in the morning, four French soups made daily, pasta, rotisserie chicken and steaks later on.

The signature is the Café de Paris steak: 400 g of Black Angus tenderloin in the herb butter sauce at 1,790 baht, or ribeye at 1,890, served with fries and a walnut-dressed salad. Cheaper plates on the current menu include the truffle risotto at 590 baht, which is also the dish Chope users vote for most, the in-house rotisserie farmer chicken at 590 for a half, and a lobster and crab roll in a brioche bun at 790. Salmon and avocado toast is Chope's second most voted dish. Prices carry 10% service and 7% VAT.

The restaurant's own site gives 08:00 to 22:00 Sunday to Thursday and to 23:00 on Friday and Saturday, last orders 15 minutes before closing. Booking is through Chope, where it rates 4.7 from 67 reviews; Google gives 4.6 from about 1,060.
