About
Laem Charoen Seafood is a Thai seafood chain that cooks in the Rayong coastal style, according to its own site. The Central Ladprao branch is on the 4th floor, plaza side (Grab gives room 404), about 200 metres from MRT Phahon Yothin. With 81 to 150 seats according to Wongnai, it can take a large family or group table.
Sea bass carries the menu. Wongnai lists deep-fried sea bass with fish sauce at 599 baht, and the garlic-fried and lime-steamed versions at 645. Smaller plates fill out the table: glass-noodle baked prawns 259 baht, crispy whitebait salad (yam pla khao san) 245, clams stir-fried with chilli paste 245, phad sam chun 195 and chayote shoots flash-fried with chilli 175. Grab's September 2026 guide calls salt-grilled river prawns and red-braised grouper the signatures.
Wongnai reviewers praise fresh seafood, generous portions and the set menus, and mention crowding at peak times. Expect 300 to 700 baht a head when a whole fish is shared. Wongnai rates the branch 4.1 from 182 ratings.
