About
Nittaya Kai Yang is the Isan grilled-chicken chain founded by Raweewan Laksanavisit. Khaosod English reported in November 2025 that it runs 31 branches across Bangkok and nearby provinces from a central kitchen and was marking its 25th anniversary. The Samyan Mitrtown branch is on the 4th floor near Starbucks, per Wongnai reviewers, and closes at 9pm.
The chicken is the order. The original-recipe bird is 230 baht whole or 120 baht for a half, and reviewers describe it as fragrant, well marinated and not greasy. Around it, tables add som tam Thai or som tam with salted egg (one of the chain's signatures), grilled pork neck, nam tok pork neck, deep-fried sea bass with fish sauce, cha-om stir-fried with glass noodles and nuea khua. The complaints are specific: a pork neck that came out underdone, a salty pork-rib soup and crispy catfish shredded too fine.
Reviewers report 101 to 500 baht a head depending on how many dishes the table shares. The room is clean with roomy seating for families, and food comes out fast. Wongnai rates the branch 3.9 from 80 ratings.
