About

Starita Bangkok is the first branch outside Italy of a Naples pizzeria that has been baking since 1901, and it occupies the ground floor of Oakwood Residence on Thonglor Soi 13. Every review lands on the same order: pizza fritta, dough folded around ricotta, salami, fior di latte and tomato and fried until golden. It was 500 baht in 2023 and shows at 560 baht on a late-2025 menu photo. The other house move is the montanara, a base fried first and then finished in the wood oven; margherita, marinara and the burrata pizza are the safer picks, and the list runs past twenty pizzas including a gluten-free dough. For pasta, the rigatoni with fresh cherry tomato is 480 baht, and the angioletti, fried dough strips with Nutella, closes the meal at 240 baht. Plan on 600 to 1,200 baht a head. Hours are Monday to Thursday 5pm to 10.45pm, Friday and Saturday 11.30am to 11pm, Sunday 11.30am to 10.30pm, so weekday lunch is off the table. Book through OpenTable on the restaurant site. There is outdoor seating and easy parking in the building, and it is about fourteen minutes on foot from BTS Thong Lo or a songthaew hop to Soi 13.
