About

Al Saray is the Silom branch of a Lebanese and Indian restaurant whose original sits on Soi Soonvijai. This one is on Soi Silom 2/1, opposite Silom Complex and a few minutes from BTS Sala Daeng. The restaurant's own site lists its must-tries: hummus, fattoush, lamb shank vindaloo, grilled baby chicken and lamb seekh kebab. Time Out rates it four stars, calls the grilled meats the highlight and suggests finishing with mohalabieh, the rose-water milk pudding. KTC's Silom guide points to the Lebanese-style grilled chicken and tandoori minced lamb and estimates about 1,000 baht a head, in line with Wongnai's 501 to 1,000 range; a 2019 BK piece had butter chicken at 280 baht, so expect more now. It opens daily 11:00 to midnight, which makes it one of the few sit-down options near Sala Daeng after 22:00. Two caveats: this branch serves alcohol, unlike Soonvijai, and while Grab lists it among Bangkok's halal restaurants, the website carries no formal certification statement, so strict diners should ask.
