About
Broccoli Revolution's Charoen Krung branch is the plant-based group's third outpost, at 55/6 Charoen Krung Soi 42/1 in Bang Rak, about ten minutes on foot from BTS Saphan Taksin. Everything on the menu is vegan. Time Out, which calls the brand a plant-based cult favourite, notes that this branch cooks more Asian dishes than the Sukhumvit originals, and its February 2020 review logged the prices: tofu satay with peanut sauce and ajad at 135 baht, cauliflower dynamite maki at 135, a teriyaki hamburger of chickpea, sweet potato and mixed grains with brown rice at 200, and pad thai on brown-rice chia-seed noodles at 150. Cold-pressed juices run 120 to 190 baht, and part of each bottle sold goes to the Sati Foundation. The group's signature broccoli-quinoa burger and a Burmese tea-leaf salad turn up in travel write-ups of the brand. The room has white walls, exposed beams and black marble tables under a sunroof, so it is bright at lunch. Hours differ by source: the restaurant's own website lists dine-in from 11:00 to 21:30 with last orders at 21:30 and no closing day, while Time Out's 2020 review gives Tuesday to Thursday 12:00 to 20:00 and Friday to Sunday until 22:00, closed Monday, and Thai PBS in 2024 gave Tuesday to Sunday until 20:00. Call 097 201 2492 before a Monday visit. Google lists it as a health-food restaurant, 4.7 from 251 reviews.
