About

Sarnies is the Bangkok outpost of a Singapore cafe group, set in two century-old shophouses on Soi Charoen Krung 44, about five minutes on foot from BTS Saphan Taksin. It roasts its own coffee and bakes in-house; GrabFood's Charoen Krung list points to the house-roasted coffee, homemade bakery and avocado toast, and Time Out Thailand gives it a full five stars. Wongnai prices: flat white 130 baht, sourdough 55, brownie 165, Avocado Loaded Toast 400 and Messy Omelette 440. A 2023 World of Street Food write-up ordered the tom yum eggs benedict at 400 baht, a best-seller big enough to share, with a basil-ade at 150. Hours are 08:00 to 21:30 daily per Wongnai and Google, with Grab listing 22:00. Google scores it 4.4 from more than 3,100 reviews. Coffee costs about double a Talat Noi hole-in-the-wall, but the building and the portions justify it.
