Onkijung started as a rice-bowl shop in Seoul's Gangnam district and opened its first Thai branch on the sixth floor of CentralWorld, according to Chope. The Pinklao outlet is unit G10 on the ground floor, open 10:00 to 22:00, with a Google rating of 4.9 from close to 1,200 reviews.

The signature is the deopbab, rice piled with toppings until they spill over the rim; Chope lists the Special Deopbab first, followed by soft tofu stew with pork belly and Korean BBQ jeongchan. Fried toppings come in a thin, crisp batter with kimchi, pickled ginger and miso soup on the side.

Pairs tend to order the Couple Set. A recent Wongnai review from this branch lists what comes in it: jeongol (a pork-belly and vegetable hot pot), soy jjimdak with glass noodles on a hot plate, a small Korean fried chicken in sweet, salty or spicy sauce, corn cheese and two drinks.
