About

Hwaro, on the 5th floor of Central Pinklao in room 510, is Korean barbecue without a buffet clock. It is the griddle-barbecue brand of The Bibimbab Co., a Korean restaurant group founded in Bangkok in 2010, and it sells meat by the plate, so you order what you will actually eat.

The branch page on the group's website gives the two prices that matter. Samgyeopsal (pork belly) is 260 baht a plate or 295 baht as a set; moksal (pork collar) is 250 baht or 285 baht as a set. Prices exclude 7% VAT, and the branch menu runs to 39 dishes, so there is more than grilled pork if someone at the table wants a soup or rice dish.

A couple sharing two plates plus extras should land at roughly 300–500 baht a head. Google shows 4.8, but from only 103 reviews, a small sample. Hours are 10:00–22:00 daily, and the branch asks groups to phone ahead. The mall has its own car park, and MRT Bang Yi Khan on the Blue Line is about a kilometre away.
