About
Onkijung is a Korean rice-bowl brand from Seoul's Gangnam district that opened its first Thai branch on the sixth floor of CentralWorld. The Bangkapi outlet is on the third floor of The Mall Lifestore Bangkapi, Room 339, a short walk from Bang Kapi station on the MRT Yellow Line.
The brand is known for rice bowls piled past the rim. Chope lists the Special Deopbab as the house signature, alongside jeongchan sets of Korean barbecue or seafood served with side dishes, Korean spicy-sauce chicken, and soft-tofu stew with pork belly. For two people, the Couple Set reviewed on Wongnai at another branch brings a pork-belly jeongol hot pot, soy jjimdak (braised chicken and glass noodles on a hot pan), a small Korean fried chicken in a spicy, salty or sweet sauce, corn cheese and two free drinks.
Wongnai reviewers of the brand report 101 to 250 baht a head for a single bowl and 251 to 500 when sharing a set. Google lists hours of 11:00 to 22:00 daily and rates this branch 4.8 from 532 reviews.
