About
Sekai no Yamachan's On Nut branch sits in the People Park project on On Nut Road (Sukhumvit 77). It belongs to a Nagoya izakaya chain roughly thirty years old; the brand's LINE page says founder Shigeo Yamamoto started with a 14-seat yakitori shop. The order here is the original-recipe fried chicken wings dusted with black pepper, which Grab names as the house dish and which a Wongnai menu photo for the chain prices at 130 baht for five pieces. Beyond the wings, Wongnai's branch page recommends sauced yakisoba and kimchi soup, and Grab adds ramen, gyoza and grilled beef. Post Today reported the People Park opening in late 2020. Hours per Grab and Google are Monday to Saturday 11:30 to midnight and Sunday 11:30 to 23:30, which makes it an after-work group spot more than a lunch stop. Expect around 250 to 500 baht a head going by Wongnai's price tier. People Park has parking; from BTS On Nut it is a little over ten minutes on foot or a short motorbike taxi ride. Google rating 4.2 from just over two hundred reviews.
