Shichi Teppanyaki (Ratchaphruek) ชิชิ เทปปันยากิ

Shichi Teppanyaki is the hotplate room of Shichi, a premium Japanese group that Thansettakij reported in January 2026 as nine years old with five Bangkok branches, Ratchaphruek among them. On Ratchaphruek the group runs two restaurants side by side in the Pla Yoo Yen compound across from The Circle: Shichi Japanese Restaurant for sushi and a la carte, and this teppanyaki room, where diners sit around the grill and a chef cooks in front of them.

Shichi's own site pitches the teppanyaki as a show for special occasions, built on wagyu, lobster and fresh local produce. KTC's Ratchaphruek list, updated January 2026, gives the Special Set from 1,550 baht, covering premium beef, seafood and sashimi, with chefs tapping and flipping spatulas and tossing eggs at the grill. At group level, Thansettakij puts average spend at 800 to 1,500 baht a head, rising to 2,000 to 4,000 with plenty of seafood. Sushi and dishes such as the Shichi Roll belong to the Japanese restaurant next door, not this room.

KTC lists weekday hours of 11:00 to 14:00 and 17:00 to 22:00, and 11:00 to 22:00 at weekends. Google shows 4.9 from 539 reviews. Bookings go through the teppanyaki room's own number, 065 529 6444, not the Japanese restaurant's. The street number is unsettled: Google gives 96/5 and KTC 96/12, both in the same compound.
