About

A Ramen's branch at The Mall Lifestore Bangkae is on the 2nd floor, units 239–240, the same level as the skywalk from MRT Lak Song, so you can step off the Blue Line and into a bowl of ramen without going outside. The chain has 17 Bangkok branches and is known in Thai as "exam-paper ramen": you tick boxes on an order sheet to pick your noodles, broth and toppings, and the kitchen builds the bowl to your answers.

Prices come from the brand's own menu, which states that they include VAT and carry no service charge. The original and exam-sheet bowls are 160 baht, the A+ upsized bowl 220 and the double-pork version 240. Set A for one (ramen, three gyoza and seaweed) is 240, a set for two 520 and the family set for three 740. If you don't want hot soup, cold ramen, soba and yuzu saru bowls run 130–140 baht, chashu rice bowls are 160 and soft serve is 19.

Google rates this branch 4.9 from 888 reviews. One bowl and a side comes to about 160–260 baht a head.
