CHAR is the grill restaurant on the 25th floor of Hotel Indigo on Wireless Road, with its open-air rooftop bar one floor up on the 26th, five minutes on foot from BTS Phloen Chit on the embassy stretch between Lumphini Park and Central Embassy. Time Out, in a page dated February 2026, calls the menu concise and focused on what fire does best and names beef tartare, scallop carpaccio, grilled octopus, crispy duck and watermelon salad, steak frites, a Kurobuta pork chop, Australian lamb cutlets, steamed cod and a chocolate molten cake, with the restaurant open 17:00 to 22:30. The restaurant's own site lists the rooftop bar from 17:00 to midnight Sunday to Thursday and to 01:00 on Friday and Saturday; The Rooftop Guide notes bar bites upstairs and smart casual dress, and Phuket 101 rules out tank tops and slippers. Phuket 101 adds that the rooftop has a retractable roof that closes in storms and DJs on Friday and Saturday. Older coverage from 2017 put a rye sazerac at 360 baht and a raspberry cosmo at 280, and a diner's report of about 3,700 baht for two mains, a wine, a soft drink and dessert sets the band.
