About
PONN is a Thai restaurant built on the idea of home cooking. The name means to feed someone by hand, and Naew Na's report on its MBK Center opening in 2022 ran under the line about feeding good things to the people you love. The Bangkapi branch is in the Dining Garden zone on the third floor of The Mall Lifestore Bangkapi, a short walk from Bang Kapi station on the MRT Yellow Line.
The menu ranges across regions. Naew Na's January 2024 piece on the Dining Garden lists this branch's recommendations as northern chicken khao soi, thick-cut pork neck grilled over charcoal with lime, sea bass soup with salted plum and fresh ginger, and squid stir-fried with salted egg. The MBK opening report adds a southern yellow curry of snakehead fish made with Nakhon Si Thammarat curry paste, shrimp-paste rice with its trimmings, crab tofu puffs and pad thai with fresh prawns, and mentions a Secret Recipe cake corner at that branch; ask whether Bangkapi carries the same.
PONN does not publish its prices online. Google rates the branch 4.8 from 456 reviews and lists hours of 11:00 to 20:30 daily, so it closes before the mall does.
