About
Ramen Tei's Phrom Phong branch is at 593/23-24 Sukhumvit Soi 33/1, the same lane as Kobe Tonteki, and one of five branches of a long-established ramen shop that Time Out lists with its main room on Surawong plus Thaniya, Soi 33/1, Soi 39 and Soi 49. Google rates it 4.2 from more than 1,200 reviews. Grab's Phrom Phong round-up gives hours of 10:30 to 22:30 daily and recommends the shoyu ramen, miso ramen and chashumen; Time Out recommends the misokara ramen at 250 baht, the cold hiyashi ramen at 200 and the chashumen at 250, and adds that the fried chicken with the house sauce is a must-order. Those prices are chain-wide and can differ slightly by branch. It is an old-style ramen room rather than one of the newer brand ramen shops in the malls. Seating is a counter and small tables, suited to one or two people.
