About

The House on Sathorn is the colonial-era mansion on North Sathorn Road beside the W Bangkok. It now runs as three things: Paii, a modern Thai seafood restaurant with an outdoor garden, open daily 12:00 to 23:00; Bar Sathorn, ranked 17 on Asia's 50 Best Bars 2026, open 14:30 to 01:00; and afternoon tea in the courtyard. Pearl's listing names the dining room's signatures as the Signature Journey tasting menu, smoked seared tuna belly, sea urchin with caviar, squid in squid-ink sauce and bami noodles with a 'secret sauce'. When BK Magazine reviewed Paii in 2019 it listed French oysters at 690 baht and razor clams flambéed in Mekhong rum with XO sauce at 520, estimating about 2,000 baht a head; Pearl puts it at 100 to 150 US dollars. An older listing had the afternoon tea set for two at 1,150++ baht, served 14:30 to 17:30. Dress is smart casual; book through SevenRooms or on 02 344 4025. It is about five minutes on foot from BTS Chong Nonsi. Google: 4.6 from 952 reviews.
