About
Tui Mookata is a Thonburi chain of mookata, the Thai tabletop pan that grills meat on the dome and simmers broth around the rim, with branches in Talat Phlu, Pho Nimit and Charoen Nakhon. The Ratchaphruek branch is off Borommaratchachonnani Road in Chimphli, Taling Chan, next to Jiang Luk Chin Pla, and its full name adds a prawn-fishing pond: you catch your own prawns and take them to the grill.
It is not a buffet. Wongnai reviewers order sets at 300, 350 and 400 baht, and across reviews set prices run from about 200 to 550. One 350-baht set came with marinated pork and chicken, pork liver, pork belly, three large prawns, fresh and fried squid and a 1.25-litre Pepsi; the 400 set adds a fourth prawn. Extra marinated pork is 60 baht a plate and a fresh pan with new charcoal is 30. Garlic rice and fries are on the side, and one reviewer singles out the suki dipping sauce. Wongnai's tier is 251 to 500 baht a head.
The car park is large, though on busy evenings you may park further away. Sources disagree on hours and address: Wongnai lists 11:30 to 23:00, Grab 12:00 to 22:00 at 16 Chimphli Road. Wongnai rates it 3.7 from nine reviews.
