About
Above Eleven is the Peruvian-Japanese rooftop on the 33rd floor of Fraser Suites Sukhumvit on Soi 11, the lane of bars behind BTS Nana; the walk from the station is about eight minutes, and the hotel offers free parking. The restaurant's own site describes Nikkei cooking, fresh ceviches and tiraditos with sushi classics alongside, and states hours of 17:00 to 02:00 daily with last food orders at 23:20 and last drinks at 01:45. Time Out calls the dress code casual chic, sandals and tank tops for men being the no, and the official list adds flip-flops, Birkenstocks and backpacks, with the same rules for children. Prices on public pages are patchy and dated: Time Out's listing put the Cebiche Above Eleven, seabass, prawns and fried calamari in a red chilli leche de tigre, at 470 baht and the anticucho beef heart with three Peruvian sauces at 250, and the Khao San Road guide gives cocktails at roughly 350 to 450 baht and ceviche or Nikkei plates at 320 to 720, so budget 800 to 2,000 a head with drinks. The drink to start with is the Pisco Sour, which Time Out says the bar makes to the classic recipe. Time Out's Thai edition advises booking at least two days ahead for weekends and notes that the covered section stays usable in light rain. Google 4.6 from more than 6,400 reviews.
