About

Beer Hima & Panya Seafood is a large southern Thai seafood restaurant on Prasert-Manukit Road at Soi 25, with more than 150 seats, its own car park, and beer, wine and spirits on the list. Beer Hima translates as "snow beer", and the kitchen cooks spicy southern Thai. It is open daily from 11:00 to 23:00.

Wongnai lists moo ko, southern-style grilled pork, at 330 baht and prawns fried with bai lep khrut leaves at 220. Dishes reviewers name again and again, without prices, are kung kapi sataw (prawns with shrimp paste and stink beans), kaeng lueang yellow curry with sea bass and coconut shoots, garlic-fried mantis shrimp, raw oysters and salt-crusted grilled sea bass. Reviewers describe the seafood as fresh and the curries as properly hot, and say the portions are large enough that a group gets more out of the menu than a couple.

Wongnai puts the spend at 501 to 1,000 baht a head and ranks it second among seafood restaurants in Lat Phrao district. Wongnai rates it 4.0 from 124 ratings and Google 4.3 from more than 1,600 reviews.
