Beirut is a Lebanese restaurant group with several Bangkok branches; its website lists Ploenchit Center, Sukhumvit Soi 39 and the 64 Silom building, plus the sister brand Grillicious by Beirut at Terminal 21 Asok. This one is on the B1 floor of Ploenchit Center at 2 Sukhumvit Road, at the Soi 2 end, three minutes from BTS Phloen Chit and a short walk from the Soi 3/1 Arab quarter. Wanderlog lists it open daily 11:00 to 22:00, with Google at 4.3 from almost 2,000 reviews. The restaurant's own menu gives clear prices: hummus and moutabal (baba ganoush) at 160 baht each, labneh 220, a mixed grill of kebab, shish taouk and grilled meat at 420, lamb ribs 950 and muhalabia, the milk pudding, at 130. intravel estimates 370 to 920 baht a head and lists vegan and vegetarian options. BK Magazine's 2020 shawarma taste test scored the chicken shawarma sandwich at 100 baht with the verdict 'bring the heat', and Wanderlog reviewers mention the muhammara and the mixed grill and warn that portions are large enough to share. On halal status the sources do not line up. The official site says nothing about it, The Beat Asia says the group's Silom branch serves certified halal meat and Zabihah describes the chain as certified and alcohol-free, but intravel's page mentions beer and no certificate for this branch is published, so ask before ordering. Cards are accepted only on bills over 500 baht, per Wanderlog.
