About

Le Normandie is the French dining room on the fifth floor of the Mandarin Oriental, on the river at Oriental Pier at the end of Soi Charoen Krung 40, and for decades Bangkok's reference French restaurant. In September 2025 it became Anne-Sophie Pic at Le Normandie, with Pic, the most Michelin-starred female chef in the world, working alongside her Japanese head chef Tamaki Kobayashi. The restaurant's Michelin Guide page shows two stars and describes a renovated room overlooking the Chao Phraya; Wikipedia records the two stars regained in the 2026 guide. Both Michelin and the hotel name her signature lobster dish and the Voyage tasting menu, and the hotel asks for a minimum of three dishes per person. The only public price today is a three-course business lunch at 4,500++ baht, Wednesday to Friday, from an August 2026 release; dinner pricing is not published, so budget at two-star river levels. Google lists Wednesday to Sunday, 12:00 to 15:30 and 18:30 to 23:30. The hotel shuttle boat runs from Sathorn Pier beside BTS Saphan Taksin.
