About
May Veggie Home Express is on the second floor of Prasarnmit Plaza in Sukhumvit Soi 23, near the Srinakharinwirot University gate. It is the current home of a fully vegan kitchen that has been cooking in Bangkok since 2011, according to its website. The menu is Thai without the meat: vegan pad thai, tom yum noodles, basil-fried tofu, wonton soup, sukiyaki, fresh spring rolls and a plant-protein krapao. Intravel lists prices at roughly 100 to 200 baht and notes that the flavours hold up without onion and garlic, which matters for Buddhist jay eaters. The restaurant bakes its own vegan bread and cakes, takes birthday-cake orders, and will cook gluten-free or Jain-style if you say so when ordering. Open daily 10:00 to 21:00. From BTS Asok exit 1 it is about ten minutes on foot via Soi 21 and Soi 23.
