About
Kofuku (the signage reads KOFUKU Original Style) is a budget Japanese chain built around donburi, rice bowls and sushi, ordered by scanning a QR code at the table. The Central Rama 9 branch is on the 7th floor. From MRT Phra Ram 9 you walk into the mall underground and ride the escalators up.
This branch has no menu published online, so the prices here come from Wongnai reviews of the Central Pinklao branch: a grilled pork rice bowl with steamed egg custard at 138 baht and a special garlic butter fried rice with steak and soy-marinated egg at 181 baht. Pinklao reviewers liked the takoyaki, which arrives hot and crisp, the fried gyoza and the diced salmon rice bowl. The complaints were about lukewarm curry and a bland premium beef bowl. Most Wongnai reviewers put their spend at 101 to 250 baht a head.
Google gives the Rama 9 branch 4.7 from 588 reviews. At that spend it works for an office lunch or a family dinner that has to stay on budget.
