Pepper Lunch is the Japanese hot-plate chain where raw beef or pork arrives on a sizzling iron plate with rice and corn, and you stir it together yourself while the plate does the cooking. The Central Rama 9 branch is on the 6th floor in the Plaza zone, according to Wongnai reviewers, and MRT Phra Ram 9 links into the mall underground.

Prices from Wongnai reviews at this branch: a pepper pork set with a mini salad and iced green tea at 169 baht (March 2025), the newer chilli-salt pork at 189 baht a la carte, and a yakiniku pork and egg set with Japanese rice, fries and a soft drink at 358 baht, which one reviewer paid 259 baht for with an AIS mobile promotion. Grab's September 2026 list recommends the black pepper ribeye, pork teriyaki and garlic seafood fried rice. Wongnai puts most spend at 101 to 250 baht a head.

Reviewers say the pepper sauce is the reason to come and the portions are generous. Two warnings come up: the room gets smoky, and rice and meat left on the hot plate dry out, so mix everything together as soon as the plate lands.
