About
Ryuzu is a sushi omakase counter on the second floor of Marché Thonglor at 148 Thong Lo Road, around ten minutes on foot from BTS Thong Lo. The head chef is Chef Pipo (Chanchai Mangkonkaew), and the restaurant says he brings 30 years in kitchens in Japan and Thailand. THE STANDARD's March 2025 review calls it contemporary Edomae omakase and a haven for lovers of uni and premium beef. The restaurant's courses page lists three menus: a 14-course lunch at 3,500++ baht, the 16-course Signature Experience at 5,900++ and the 18-course Prestige Uni & Seasonal at 8,900++, all before service charge and VAT; THE STANDARD had the middle course at 5,800. The 18-course menu carries four pieces of uni, Bafun and Taka, and a Nagasaki beef with uni course the review calls the signature; other ingredients it names include Japanese hairy crab, otoro, akami, giant cockle, silver scabbardfish and sayori, and the menu changes with the season. Reviewers on Wanderlog praise the rice seasoned with aged red vinegar and the ankimo. Seating times are not settled: the site's page text gives 12:00, 17:30 and 21:30, its structured data gives a 19:30 dinner round, and THE STANDARD listed 12:30, 17:30 and 19:30, so confirm when booking. Booking is by LINE @ryuzuomakase or phone 062 926 6241. Google 4.9 from more than 500 reviews.
