About

Ten Suns is an old-town beef noodle shop on Wisut Kasat Road, between Banglamphu and the Rama VIII Bridge. The Michelin Guide Thailand 2026 has it on the Bangkok Bib Gourmand list, under noodles and small eats, and calls it a well-known stall for braised beef noodle soup. The appeal is choice: you pick the cut, whether cheek, tongue, tendon, shoulder or shank, or ask for the mix. Michelin describes the broth as salty and aromatic with a smooth finish, and rates the beef meatballs, which come with extra broth.

It is cheap. Time Out, in March 2026, gives a range of 100 to 150 baht and recommends the bamee haeng, dry egg noodles. A September 2026 review on Phuket 101 lists rice noodles from 120 baht, Hong Kong egg noodles with braised beef at 160, braised Kobe beef with the same noodles at 200, meatball soup at 100 and beef wontons in a special sauce at 120. Michelin notes it is cash only.

Open Tuesday to Sunday, 09:00 to 16:00, closed Monday. The room is small, with marble-topped tables, stools and fans instead of air conditioning. Phuket 101 puts it about ten minutes on foot from Khao San Road; MRT Sam Yot is 1.7 km away, so a Grab is quicker.
