About

Krua Apsorn's Dinso Road branch, at 169 Dinso Road near the Giant Swing, is where Bangkok families take out-of-town guests to show how good ordinary Thai home cooking can be. There are two branches: the Sam Sen original in Dusit holds a Bib Gourmand in the Michelin Guide Thailand 2026, while Dinso cooks the same recipes but is not separately listed. The dish every review mentions is the crab omelette, a fluffy omelette folded around crab meat instead of minced pork, which foreign reviewers have priced at about 90 to 100 baht. The other is crab stir-fried with yellow chilli, which Time Out lists at 450 baht and other sources at 430 to 530 depending on the year; the crab is tender and milder than the name suggests. Most dishes run 100 to 530 baht, served fast in the manner of an upgraded curry-and-rice shop, and payment is mostly cash. Google shows 10:30 to 20:30 with Thursday off, while World of Mouth says closed Sundays with last seating around 19:00, so phone first. Google 4.3 from almost 4,000 reviews. MRT Sam Yot is about twelve minutes on foot.
